On second thought or upon reading more of this seller's feedback, I would NOT buy from him. He has a lot of positive feedback, but hidden in all that is the fact people complained and got their money back, sort of like saying..."OK, you figured me out, I tried to sell you a bootleg. But I'll refund your money back, and you leave positive feedback fo rme, OK". On the other hand if he gets caught and someone leaves negative feedback for him...he denies it!
If he was found guilty of producing at least one bootleg (which he was)...then chances are he is producing "high quality" bootlegs which go unnoticed by the "average" viewer. A lot of buyers have even receieved a 2nd copy of their DVDs because the first they bought had problems.....hmmm he must've screwed up on one of those.
Don't do it! Unless you are satisfied with a good quality bootleg.

Love watching my "babies" on my wide-screen

Are you sure you want "The Little Mermaid" Limited Issue DVD? My advise would just be to buy a TLM tape, which is probably much cheaper. The DVD had no bonus features and was really bad. Listen, just buy a VHS Version for as low as $5.99 and enjoy it until the Platinum comes out because the Limited Issue was extremely bad as all the other ones...

Well, if you already own the VHS, I don't know why you want the DVD, since it is almoust the same thing...Mermaid Kelly wrote:I have the vhs already, and like I said before, the platinum might be edited! So I figured I would try to get this dvd also.

Yeah, and those weren't anything wrong, since they were both misinterpreations.Uncle Remus wrote:the only problems with The Little Mermaid that i heard were the first VHS cover for the movie and the priest in the movie. other from that there is nothing wrong with the rest movie that will make Disney edit it.

First of all: I realy do belive Disney when they say that this reads SFX and not SEX. But someone with a dirty mind found it and misread it and now everyone else also can "see" it.
But the Lion King DVD does have only one version on it and that is the ruined one. The diffrence is that you can chose to see it with one special scene, or with the original scene. There are not two copyes of the movie on there.
First there is the movie up till the morning report. Here the DVD player chose the file that you want to see with the morning report. When the scene is over it jumps back to the ordinary movie track.
There would not be enough space for two complete movies on the disc.

There could be if they did it right. Look at A Bug's Life Collector's Edition - 2 full versions of the movie (90ish minutes each), plus a commentary track, a sound effects only, an isolated score, and a 5.1 track.karlsen wrote:There would not be enough space for two complete movies on the disc.
And the movie looks awesome, too. Disney COULD have done that with The Lion King, but it might have meant minimal picture quality loss. Higher customer satisfaction levels, too, I'd guess.
I'm just waiting for the Platinum in 2005, personally.
Until then, there are... ahem ahem... other... ways to... watch... it... cough...

Cinderella DVDs on ebay?
Hey all,
I'm new here. I've been reading some of the posts here for a couple months, but never posted anything until now.
I've been starting my collection of DVD's for my daughter the last 6 months and have been noticing more and more "bogus" or "pirated" DVD's popping up on ebay and other places, the most recent being Cinderella. Anyone have any idea where these are coming from? Are they bootlegs or are they from another region? Anyone know?
Here is a photo of one of the DVD's I found on ebay.
