Hi, It's Joan again here!

As Netty prepares to give his acceptance speech he celebrates by eating some chocolate!

Image

Why look more guests are arriving! Late as usual to draw attention to themselves!

It's Jens and KinOO, clearly having another discussion about DTV sequels, alongside celebrity Guest Cameron Diaz! And behind them we have... Oh My word! I can't believe it!

Image

Security, Security!

Shrek Is trying to sneak into the celebrations! Clearly shocked at his Oscar loss, he somehow mistakenly thinks he will be able to pick up an award here!

But we can breathe a sigh of relief! The bouncers are here!

Image

Well that's him dealt with for now! Join me later for more backstage gossip!

Netty's been eating that same Snicker bar for well over a year now. If it takes him as long to give his speech, as it has for him to eat that, we'll probably never get a speech from him. :(

Autograph. John Hancock. Signature. It goes by many names. And though we may not physically sign our monitors (well, you very well may, but it doesn't show up for any of us), message board signatures are no less personal. In fact, I'd argue that they're more personal. They can make us think, "huh?" (and occasionally "Uh-huh Uh-huh Uh-huh"), laugh, or even cry (well, I haven't personally shed a tear yet). The point is that signatures are cool, and as such, we award some of the better ones we read and enjoy every day and the forum members who come up with them. The nominees for Signature of the Year are:

MickeyMousePal
Luke
Evil Genie Jafar

And the Golden Mickey goes to...

MickeyMousePal

This is MickeyMousePal's first Golden Mickey.

Congratulations, MMP!

While we await MickeyMousePal's acceptance speech (as well as one from Netty, who has apparently been in the restroom for quite some time ), we hope to hear another great update from Joan as well as congratulations from all of our viewers!

Ahem!?
Major faux pas on the carpet as I forget the name of the designer! Sorry. I'd like to state in public that Icha-Bods (for all the best Bods) designed the frock :)

And congrats to MMP.

Maybe this thread should get moved to Feedback or Disney Movie Club so that Off-Topic doesn't have the home court advantage? ;)

Sorry for the late reply. I was out of the country filming my latest opus, an art-house flick called "Stop Giving Me More Work To Do, Already!", a thrilling story of a poor wage-slave and his eventual mental breakdown due to over work and 14 hour days.

Really, I've just been so busy these past few weeks - and it doesn't look like work is going to slow down anytime soon. So I apologise for the late show, I've literally been popping in about out of the forum for minutes at a time.

Anyhow, firstly, I would like to thank MickeyMouseBoy for graciously granting me permission to reuse one of my earlier Avatars, which was actually created after the two of us had a brief falling out.

But we're best of buds now :thumb:

I'd also like to thank Walt Disney, for having the foresight to anticipate the classic Homer/Bart strangle pose from The Simpsons. And I'd also like to thank Pete for being Pete! Come on Disney, lets have "A Petey Movie" soon!
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
