Lol! That's a good one. THe second ones' resemblance is scary!

My post was lost so I will repost what I proposed:
Adrianna Coselotti (voice of Snow White) played by Natalie Portman:

Bobby Driscoll (voice of Peter Pan and lots of other stuff) played by Phil of the Future's Ricky Ullman (as seen in Growing Up Brady)

*Note: please do not quote images b/c they waste bandwidth.

Also, I remember DG replied something about how I shouldn't have mentioned Bobby Driscoll since he has died and we should respect his memory.

How about either Johnny Depp or Leonardo DiCaprio as Ub Iwerks?

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but there are plenty of good reasons to bring new life to this topic...

1) Some of it appears to be have been lost from the deadbeat hackers's hack job.
2) This is an extremely interesting toic
3) Everyone is having so much fun casting ourselves in different things anyway
4) The Put a Face w/ a Name thread is back, why not bring this back.
5) Lots of newbies would have fun with this
6) I wonder what happened to the Snow brothers...

Anyhow, I just wanted to say how incredibly similar Jimmie Dodd and Christopher McDonald appear. :o The resemblence is eerily uncanny!!!!!!!!

Can't think of who else to cast at the moment though...

Funny even before i actually read the thread I was thinking Adrian Brody for Walt Disney.

I think it could be done and I dont think it's far fetched. Afterall the Disney Family website, which is linked directly to the main disney pages talks about Walt as a real person.

The guy did die of lung cancer from smoking, it's not really a huge secret that the man had some vices.

The only thing is you'd probably have to focus on the building of disneyland as a plot point. To include his whole life in detail might be a bit much. I'd love to see a very moving hospital scene between Walt and Roy disney.

I noticed kevinsnow used Ward Kimball as an example, so I wonder who would play the other Nine Old Men? I think Bob Saget looks a lot like Frank Thomas & Philip Baker Hall looks like Eric Larson.

By the way...this might be off the subject a bit, but doesn't Joe Grant look a lot like Waldorf from the Muppets? Just a thought.

I guess you're on to something there - so perhaps a Muppet version would be the way to go! 8)

Revisiting this thread entertained me far more than I would have expected.

Anyway, here's some visual comparison of Joe Grant and Waldorf:

To add some originality, I figure I ought to cast Wilford Brimley in the part of Bill Walsh, Walt's reliable producer:

And as Walt's go-to live-action director Robert Stevenson, Rene Auberjonois..

In the late 70's Richard Dreufus approached Disney about playing Walt in a bio pic. but the studio wasn't interested. They cast him as Einstein in a film that never happened instead.

Who played Walt in the Annette docudrama that showed up around ten years ago?

Thanks Luke, He seemed fit for the role then, I think he'd be a good choice.

I think Waldorf as Joe Grant is truly inspired casting. It would also allow Waldorf to show off his acting chops.
