It has been a week since it has been released in France, i just watched it today and admit that it is quite good! I wasn't expecting too much of this DTV and was positively surprised! THe movie is very Entertaining, some references to themeparks culture,
waht i feared the most was the animation, fromt h stills, i was expecting House of Mouse quality, but it was a lot better!
I may enjoyed watching Mousketeers better than Home on the Range in theaters!

I watched the DVD, but I gave a not-so-short review here:Hey Pluto! wrote:Has anyone watched the DVD yet? If so, please give a short review. I'm going to pick it up after work.

That sucks, Aaron! Maybe it's time to do a free Netflix trial?

I pre-ordered mine from Disney so that I'd get the free lithograph and I was lucky enough to get mine yesterday. It was on the porch when I got home from work. I won't get into the story, as Luke has already done a thorough review. I watched it last night with my 3 1/2 year old daughter, and we both loved it. With it being an hour long, it seemed to fly by, but yet it didn't feel rushed. I thought it was great - everything I expected. Two thumbs up!

I saw it yesterday and I thought it was great! There were a lot of funny jokes and the music was a good choice
. I'm glad they went with period music and not pop music like Cinderella II had. The only problem is that unless you put captions, it is hard to understand the lyrics to the songs. Also, I wish there was a more in depth behind the scenes feature but the one they included was pretty good and not too boring for children to appreciate it. Overall, it is a fun little movie, though the DVD is definitely more for families rather than collectors,
.

yes, the Mexico and Latin America edition also have this Fast play option, but I haven´t try it.
by the way, some jokes are good but others just don´t fit in...(like the "An opera called 'I just cant wait to be king' bwa ha ha ha ha"--Pete´s Line--)

The Three Musketeers DVD Press Release, Menus & More
Hi,
I'm from Singapore and I'm very new to this forum. I'm a big disney fan and I love this site!!!
I recently purchased a three musketeers dvd from my local store. Although it says region 1, it also says "made in Mexico". I was wondering if there is a version that actually says "made & printed in USA"?
I'm kinda picky coz DVDs here are not cheap... I figured if I'm paying so much money for the DVD, I want an original USA made one. Not a Mexico, Canadian, or some other Region 1 coded dvd (no offense to anyone here!). Hope you guys understand ^^;

Hey DisneyNutCase,
Welcome to the forum!
My Region 1 DVD had the Made in Mexico sticker on the back as well. That's just where they were manufactured. I doubt you'll find one with a sticker other than that. I'm sure it's cheaper for them to print them in Mexico, but it makes no difference really. And the sticker comes right off.
Hope you stick around!

The Three Musketeers DVD Press Release, Menus & More
Hi Kram!
Thanks for the warm welcome. As i was explaining, I realise that there are quite a few versions of Region 1 Disney DVDs.
First, there's the canadian version, where the front cover has this logo that says "French Included" and a little canadian flag located on the back cover beside the region 1 logo. And normally the text located there would state "For sale in Canada only"
Then, there's the USA version, the front cover does not have the "French Included" logo and the back cover has no small Canadian flag and it says "For sale in USA only and Made & Printed in USA"
So, recently I bought a copy of the new 3 musketeers DVD. This one has no small canadian flag, says "Printed in USA" and has a "Made in Mexico" on it's shrinkwrap.
I was wondering whether anyone has an actual version that says "Made in USA" (or rather a USA version DVD) or have disney moved their DVD-churning factory to Mexico for good? (for low costs and other reasons).

Anyhow, thanx for the explanation! For a minute I thought my DVDs all coincidentally lost its Mexico sticker but I checked the back. They all say what you last said: "...for sale in USA only." and "Printed in USA." So I guess if you live and buy DVDs in the USA they will not have Mexican stickers
Speaking of regional DVDs, I found a Monster's Inc. 2 disc DVD at Sam Goody. I was confused b/c it was in a white double case rather than a black one with a swinging door thinger. I looked at it again and realized it was in Spanish and it said for Region 1 AND 4! I thought Spain was Region 2???
Hi!
here we go again...
Spanish is the name of the language, it can be on Mexico, on Latin America and also in Spain(b/c actually, from there it´s from...).
there is not such a thing like "mexican" or "Latinamerican" or "brazilian" language, all are spanish(except, of ourse, the "brasilian" one, it´s name is Portugese--everybody now...P-O-R-T-U-G-U-E-S-E..---).
there´s only 4 languages on America: French(Canadian only), English(us only), Spanish(most latinamerica and Mexico) and portugese(Brazil only).
