I started a second account yesterday (through the UD link). If I don't see some preferred member benefits from my original account soon, I'll be closing it out.

I am. Who knows if the VIP benefits are really as good as they sound? I'll find out shortly.

You get 3 free movies when you purchase 5. You get a chance to purchase your 1st for $14.95, so then you only need to buy 4 more and you can buy another for $9.95 if you wish but it doesnt count towards your purchase commitment. I only joined a few weeks ago but I like it so far. I've gotten 8 movies(including 3 walt disney treasures) for around $120. I only joined so I could get the 3 Disney Treasures(which would have cost alot more just to buy them from ebay.)

I am.

But I'm not satisfied at all with it.

At least I'm done with it.

I don't see the advantage of the DMC. Especially if you consider buying from online retailers, or buy it the first week of release. Usually during the first week of release you can buy Disney movies for fifteen dollars.

I don't see the point.

Hi

I used to be a member, but I cancelled my membership after I had finished my agreement. And after buying a few other dvds. I can get the movies cheaper by just going to Amazon.com

I think it's only worth it if you're (a) buying club exclusives or higher-priced items like collector's editions, Treasures sets, multipacks, etc. or (b) really want 3 free DVDs at the time. Even with the latter, it isn't a horrible deal, but probably not worth it overall.
