Did anyone check to see if the Real Canadian Superstore had the Disney Treasure DVDs available? I never saw the last wave there so I was assuming they didn't have them this time, so I never checked. But if Costco has them then maybe Superstore might as well?

I picked up my copies this morning at Best Buy, which was selling the Treasure sets for $28.99 each and I managed to save at least $20.00.

Here's my DT numbers....

On The Front Lines 73,260 / 250,000

The Chronological Donald Duck 1934-1941 70,165 / 165,000

Mickey Mouse In Living Color Vol.2 80,821 / 175,000

I didn't pick up the Tomorrowland collection, cause I want to hear feedback and if it sound's good? then I'll pick it up.

But today is toon heaven :wink:

I checked Superstore around nine, and the girl had no clue what I was talking about. It might be worth checking a little later though, they may not have gotten the shipment yet.

If I went and picked up the collection at either HMV or the Virgin Megastore, I would just pay over one hundred bucks, since both of those stores aren't reasonable prices.

Picked up my B&M copies at The Disney Store after over an hour of driving around. First checked Best Buy and laughed at their $28.99 price. So I walked out of their with the Miracle 2-pack and headed across the street to Wal-Mart ... where their $24.92 stock was completely gone.

So I got in the car and headed south to Castleton Square Mall (20+ minutes) and found all four Tins at our Disney Store for $24.99.

On a side note I still have not received any of my Amazon Tins yet.
(I'm also collecting a 2nd set of every wave to keep SEALED)

I'll post the print run # when I open them later.

I work at Superstore and let me tell if you want DVDs espescially ones like these dont count on it. Of course DVDs are very cheap here but no our store didnt get them in and they only usually get popular DVDs but the good thing about Superstore is that they get good TV shows on DVD here and are really cheap. O ya Im not tryin to promote Superstore cause in all honesty it sucks but it pays good :wink:

Any ways enough about that I got all the treasures today at the Disney Store, and I hated how they put that suoid sesor on the slip it only ruined the back of the strip(the white part) but it was annoying and also when I opened my Tomorrowland Treasure the DVD case was scratched and the DVD was out of its holder. Hopefully it plays fine.

* Off Topic*
Also has Anyone in canada having any luck finding The Triplets of Belleville on DVD they only have to rent here but I really want to own it. :(

Hey, thanks for letting me know about the availabilty of these DVDs at Superstore. I had a feeling they wouldn't be there cuz as I mentioned before, I didn't see the last wave of them there. So, I knew the best place to get them would be Wal-Mart. Otherwise, I do buy pretty much most of my DVDs at Superstore, cuz they generally have the best prices...so no worries about promoting Superstore, I'm already on board with them buying DVDs and stuff there ;)

I don't think I've seen The Triplets of Belleville anywhere here, but that may be because I wasn't interested in owning it in the first place :p But I could have a check around the next time I'm at Wal-Mart and such, and I'll let you know if I find it.

Well I woke up early this mourning, but that was so I coiuld catch the bus to work...

After work I met with a Marine Corps recruiter only to find that I am "PERMANITLEY DISQUALIFIED" to be in the military due to some issue with my heart, which kinda sucks, because now I can nolonger fall back on the military as a back-up, nolonger try to use them as a source for college money, ect., but on the upside if the draft is ever brought back, I am not "qualified" to fight...

Anyway, after that I got home, but my mom was nowhere to be found, so I had to wait an hour, as soon as she got home, I had her race me to several stores, none of which were carrying the treasures, finally we got to Sam's Club, where I picked up each of the Treasures for $20.56 + tax, which came out to $86.36 each! (American Dollars :wink: )

I am so happy to finally have these! Though I am a little miffed that the numbers are not on the tins this wave... :roll: oh well

Now I'm looking forward to the next wave! Oh, BTW, did anyone else notice that this time around they included the art inside the case, I wish they had done that with the first 7, then all the art for each of the sets would have been in the cases and therefore come with the 7 treasure box set, oh well...

My numbers are:

MMILC - 85,901

OTFL - 116,563

Donald - 97,696

Tommarowland - 41,903

Um.....they always released the art inside the case. I assume that the treasure box set had them taken out because they were susposed to be limited along with the tin.

Triplets of Bellville showed up at my local Music World store, so if you have one of them around you may want to try that.

Today at 2:00 PM i went to pick up my treasures! hehe I called around to see who had them and price. 2 Wal-marts didnt have it, our only best buy didnt have and our 2 circuit cities didnt have it. As always my Disney Store who has crap in inventory (mostly kiddie junk) had them for $24.99 I bought all for the happy total of 108.87! hehe :D I hate the sensor tab on the slip band I removed it but there's a shadow were the tag was. I'm going to call Disney and see if they are offering clean and free replacements of this bands. I also noticed the cheapness of the tins compared to the past waves. For the fellow Disney store-ians take warning that my local store had damaged tins so make sure to check the condition of these!

Serial #'s

OTFL = 129,720
MMILC2 = 21,989
CD = 20,909

Methinks it's time to invest in a Sam's Club or Costco membership.
