I just watched just a few seconds of 3 of those clips and I feel personally offended. I'm being dramatic, but this is awful. Why in the world does Disney need to bastardize their characters? Painful to watch.

The show has gender-bent Gopher. The character is now female and is called Bea.

Or she could just be a new character like Beaver in My Friends Tigger and Pooh.

Nobody got genderbent. They're two distinctly different characters/species.

Bea is a beaver. As in BEAver. Gopher is, well, a gopher.

I don't even watch this show and it took me two seconds to google Bea.

Q: Can you tell us a bit about Playdate with Winnie the Pooh? What makes this new take on Winnie the Pooh stand out?

Elise Fachon: I love that this version has more core female characters. Kanga plays a bigger role and Rabbit is a girl in our version. Plus, I really love our new character Bea the beaver. I love the bright colors and playable design of the Hundred Acre Wood in this take.

They are ANIMALS! I'm so tired about people giving sexuality and saying that an animal is inspired in certain breeds. Do Disney needs to politize everything? Do they really care back in the 90s about gender and breeds in the 90s tv show? No and nobody missed that. I understand that in some movies is neccesary but honestly I think that doing these things in shows like Winnie the Pooh is stupid and a waste of time.
