Short of you singing it on top of a writhing orgy of homosexuals listening to Cher, I don't know know how much gayer it can get.

Hmmm.... maybe if Barbara Streisand was also there, and everyone was painted different colors to look like a rainbow. Oh, and Flangy could be dressed as a Fairy Princess. That would be gayer.

awkward.... I'll admit the chipmunks "revamp" is kinda being overdone lately, not movie/character wise. There's tons of "Chipmunk" verisons of numerous songs yet they just sped up the song to a "fake" chipmunk level *ugh* kinda tired of it if you ask me.

In my mind they should have never existed. Sometimes I just meditate and ask myself what kind of a god would allow Alvin and the Chipmunks to become part of pop culture. I never found them funny, on record, as a cartoon, or as CGI.
The same that gave us Spongebob Squarepants.....The Mighty B!, Barney, Ben 10.. Chowder...Chip and Dale...., The Secret Saturdays, and The Mighty Super Hero Squad that airs on Cartoon Network....the list is ongoing.....and too long to post

I was fairly impressed with the Sequel, the plot could've been alil stronger (maybe reflect the 80s show), the villain could've been a tad more meancing then last time and the Chipettes were so adorable. This was more tolerable since they didn't overload on the songs and focused on chararacter personality for the Munks and Chipettes.

The fact that the battle song "The Girls (Boys) of Rock n' Roll" is not in the movie makes me angry. That is seriously the greatest 3 minutes of Chipmunks ever produced.

The Chipmunk Adventure is still, and will always be, the best Chipmunk movie. Period.

Now let us all enjoy the song:

I agree with you bout the "loss" of "Rock 'n Roll". Its an iconic song for the Munks and Chipettes just as X-Mas Don't Be Late is a iconic song for the Chipmunks. It'd be understandable if they were saving the song for another Chipmunk album or...dare I say it, 3rd Chipmunk film.

The 80s theme song should've made the cut for the film/album too. My gf and I were hopin to hear the new verison in the film or its soundtrack.

Of course, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The 3-Deequel. What more does one need in life.

The first comment below that article is LOL-tastic.

As much loved Alvin/The Chipmunks are... 3 feature films bout them is kinda pushin it.

Alvin/The Chipmunks: Fairly good for an "origin" film and paid fair respect to its source.

Alvin/The Chipettes: The plot could've been stronger, yet it seemed to be split between Alvin and the Chipettes' origin. Might smartend Zachary Levi's character, David Cross could've been a tad more meancing and bet'ter motivation. Other that the forementioned complaints.... the film was easy to watch .

What possible story could they do with The Munks/Chipettes?? If they decide to kinda gear it towards the 60s/80s show or put in the same level as the 1st film then I'll watch it.

I hope they drain those bastards of every last miserable, blood-stained digital penny they earned from these monstrocities. And if I'm still alive by the time they're dead, I'll do a high-pitched "bow-chikka-wow-wow" over their graves.

How do these f-ing studios keep getting away with screwing over the people they get the rights to these movies from? This is every bit as slimey, underhanded, and infuriating as what the Weinsteins did to John Carpenter when they remade Halloween. If you're going to make at least 8 or 9 digit fortunes off of something you're stealing from someone else... PAY THEM what you owe them! It's not a hard equation to figure out. You don't have your success without the person who gave it to you. It's just yet another reason to hate Remake Culture. They rape our memories and their wallets get fatter. And now they have the audacity to think they don't have to pay the original creators?
