I've been in Japan this month and the game is really popular there. People wear their cosplays to parks and there are even adds in the underground station that takes you to the line that goes to Disney.
I started to read the first volume of the manga due to the curosity that I had and I have to say that I find it really stupid in some parts. Everything happens without sense and they don't take time to explain you things that are important in the plot. I'll read the second one to see if it goes better.
