I was expecting a few people to say 1970s because it's easy to say that really. Even though The Rescuers is one of my favourite Disney films, there is something a bit lacklustre and formulaic about a number of other titles, and as noted above, it's the end of the era for the Nine Old Men, with new blood coming in. Some of which then ended up leaving and forming their own studios, Don Bluth the most notable there. You can argue it carried on through until The Little Mermaid, although I have a soft spot for The Great Mouse Detective anyhow.

As for the 2000s, I adore TENG and Lilo&Stitch, so that gets a pass, albeit yeah, the early CGI films were weak.

Aristocats, Robin Hood, one of the Pooh films, The Rescuers, Pete's Dragon if you count it.

The Rescuers is my favorite Dark Ages film so that's my main highlight in the 70s. Pooh I consider to be more a creature of the 60s since 2/3 of the shorts came from Walt's era basically. The Aristocats is just ok imo but not amazing and Robin Hood I find to be one of Disney's cheapest features and not just in animation quality.

If we're talking about live-action/animation hybrid films from the 70s, then Bedknobs and Broomsticks counts as well. That's personally one I love but most people seem to forget it.

Hey, everybody! It's been a while.

I'll be honest, I haven't seen the majority of Disney animated movies this decade. Tangled was good (even though I still hate the title to this day). I didn't much care for Frozen or Moana. I'm not a fan of this new trend of being hip and overly cynical that recent Disney movies seem to adopt.

I'm just not interested in the new direction Disney is taking, so I'm going to say the current is the worst decade for Disney animation. There may have been several lackluster decades in the company's history, but at least they have the nostalgia factor going for them.
