I was expecting a few people to say 1970s because it's easy to say that really. Even though The Rescuers is one of my favourite Disney films, there is something a bit lacklustre and formulaic about a number of other titles, and as noted above, it's the end of the era for the Nine Old Men, with new blood coming in. Some of which then ended up leaving and forming their own studios, Don Bluth the most notable there. You can argue it carried on through until The Little Mermaid, although I have a soft spot for The Great Mouse Detective anyhow.
As for the 2000s, I adore TENG and Lilo&Stitch, so that gets a pass, albeit yeah, the early CGI films were weak.
