I have a theory. The reason why Cruella De Ville hasn’t( as far as I know) actually appeared in person in this show is because the Emma Stone movie is currently in production. Disney wants to avoid brand confusion or Maybe even delusion. If Cruella De Vill was in this show people might A: be confused and Wonder if she is the same one as in the upcoming 2021 movie and B: Give the impression the Craig Gillespie movie is suitable for younger audience which it suspect likely won’t be the case.

I think this very similar to what happened in the 90s with SpiderMan a live action with Electro and Sandman was in Production at the time so neither villain could be used in the Fox Cartoon although Electro eventually appeared at the end of the series , two story from finalily recall although with completely new backstory not found in any Comics of being the jealous second favorite son of the Red Skull.

^ I think Cruella does appear in this series at some point. In the opening credits song, there's an image of her and her car. Moreover, when I looked at the page for this show on Wikipedia, there's apparently a voice actor for Cruella, so I'm guessing she appears at some point in this show, even if it's a brief cameo.

I watched two episodes (or four, rather) just now. I think it's cute. I mean, it's all fluff, no serious storyline underneath the kiddy fare like with the Tangled series, but so far I like it for what it is. I think it's better than the series from the '90s that I grew up with, although both shows have a very odd design style. I think this show looks better than that one overall--and much better than the Big Hero 6 TV series that was just horrid to behold. I really didn't like the parents' designs until I realized from looking on the Wikipedia page that these characters are merely descendants of Pongo and Perdita, not P&P themselves like I thought. I like that they've kept some things from the film, like the doorway and the stairs, and they use the Twilight Bark regularly so far. As for the characters, I like Dylan. At first I was hung up on who Dolly's voice actor was; I thought maybe someone from MLP: Friendship Is Magic, especially since another character had a voice actor from that show, but it turned out she was Amethyst from Steven Universe!

I think I might actually try to continue with this, since it goes by so quickly and I don't imagine it'll have more than three seasons at best.

I've been putting this on a lot in the background. They had a marathon sometime last week and I was trying to plow through some episodes. I actually really like this show, as far as kid's show fodder goes--and it's definitely superior to the dalmatians show I grew up with. It took me a while to warm up to Dolly just because I kept thinking Amethyst for the longest time, but I think I'm finally beginning to separate the two in my mind a little bit. The Dylan and Dolly dynamic feels sort of like if Selena Gomez and the older brother from Wizards Waverly Place were turned into dogs. Deepak often acts as a third to those two even though he's not exactly like the third brother from that show--he's more a "weird" character than a stock "stupid" one. The first appearance I happened to catch of Dante, the goth one, made me LOL.

The song that plays over the End Credits is so cute! So this show is pretty much "done" even though not all the episodes have aired in the U.S. yet, right? I feel like it could've went longer than 40 episodes. :( Either the ratings in the U.K. were bad or Disney didn't have much confidence in this to end it so quickly.

I finally saw the Cruella episode. I enjoyed it, personally. I know the design of the series is not to everyone's taste, but I thought they did the best they could have. Cruella in this (she has to be around 90 years old) is more how I've read she is in the book: practically mentally ill (because of her age, it comes across like dementia or something). And since of course she can't smoke cigarettes anymore (   ), they did well turning the green smoke into a toxic spray she uses to repress her wrinkles. The only thing I didn't like was her yellow fur coat; she didn't wear it until she's already caught the puppies, but it was really horrible. I would've been fine with a new design for her fur, this one just didn't look good at all.

Overall, it was a nice final episode, too, with the way it involved so many of the characters. :( I wish this show was / had been really popular with the new generation, to bring some fanfare for the Dalmatians property back. I miss the '90s when merchandise for that movie was almost as bad as TLK.
