I'm not REALLY sure if I'm going or not, but I probably will. We will take an RV (this is the info I have) and will be shovin off on the spring vacation in April. We will stop by Disney Land (world, not sure which one is there) and I wanted to ask what places we should visit in DL/DW or in Florida itself. Have a place there that's good or worth seeing? :?
You are sooooooo lucky. I want to go back so bad. If I were to go back a second time I would do Magic Kingdom(Disneyland) MGM, Epcot, then Animal Kingdom. I didn't really like Animal Kingdom, I thought it was more like a zoo. They had some rides there but not like Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM. But in 2006 they are opening the Forbidden Mountain in Animal Kindgom.
Let's get one thing straight: Expedition Everest, Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, opening in 2006 in the Asia section of Disney's Animal Kingdom, is not, strictly speaking, a roller coaster.

Sure, the three-minute experience features a 112-foot lift and an 80-foot drop (the highest and longest at Walt Disney World) and reaches speeds of up to 50 miles per hour, but don't call it a roller coaster.

"It's an adventure," says Walt Disney Imagineering senior show producer Kathy Rogers. "Yes, it's a coaster-like thrill ride, but everything that happens ..."
So if I go back after 2006 I will go then and do that ride. It sounds like so much fun!! Hope you have fun!!!

I love Disney movies, but I'm obsessed with Walt Disney World. I'll be going for my 7th time this summer (it would be more if I lived closer, which I will when I do an internship there!)

I am with you on this one! I am super obsessed with WDW! You won't regret interning there, they say its a great thing to do. Best of all, you may eventually get hired into the company.
Yeah, I'm looking at doing it through the college program, but I'll have to get creative to get credit for it, as my school doesn't accept it for credit (but nearby schools do)...hmmm. I've heard all great things about it, but people keep telling me that I'll get sick of WDW. Can some of you who've done something like this tell me what you think... is it possible to overdo WDW? I wouldn't think so, but I don't want to run the risk of dampening the magical experience by overkill.

P.S. Jim, nope, sure haven't. I'll have to check that out. Thanks :)

hey awallaceunc, I got accepted into the internship program this year, but had to turn it down because of my college. My college offered credit for the program, but would not work with me to figure out what to do about some classes that I have to take in order. If I would have went, it would have put me a year behind with those classes. I am still angry with my school. If I had it to do over again, I would have looked into online classes with the other colleges listed on the disney college program site.

They are holding a meeting here on Monday, so hopefully they can assist me with the school and whatnot. I'm hoping to find some way to work around the system like you mentioned... I just don't know if advisors here will be willing to help me do that since they don't officially offer credit.
