Re: Disney Movies I Havn't Seen
Wow, Disney Guru you certainly have me beat! I've seen all the animated classics, but there are quite a few holes in the live action arena in the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I also have seen very few of the direct-to-TV movies. I've seen all the pre-1970 Live Actions except for Victory Through Air Power, Rob Roy, The Littlest Outlaw, Perri, Toby Tyler, Fighting Price Of Donegal, and Smith! -- although several of them I haven't seen for years.Disney Guru wrote:Fighting Price Of Donegal

Texas John Slaughter Geronimo's Revenge
Texas John Slaughter Stampede At bitter Creek
Texas John Slaughter Gunfight At Sandoval.
Back in the 80s when I was in school the Disney Channel used to play all the old movies pretty much non-stop. I miss those days!

Yeah, Chris is all about the classics. It doesn't surprise me that he's seen most of the live-actions.

I'm assuming like most others that we're talking about the animated "classic" features. I've seen them all except the latest ones:
-Lilo & Stitch which I didn't buy since I'm still waiting for a 2-disc edition.
-Treasure Planet. I've got it on my shelf but have still not got around to watch it.
-Brother Bear

You didn't see the entire The Rescuers Down Under? Don't worry you didn't miss anything good...Secret Disney Man wrote:I haven't seen 6-11, except for 7:Fun and Fancy Free. Have it on video. I also don't think I've seen all of The Rescuers Down Under, having been scared out of the bejesus by McLeach when I was little.

...because it wasn't good, Tangela. It was great!Tangela the Little One wrote:You didn't see the entire The Rescuers Down Under? My second-favorite Disney film, though, a runner-up to Lilo & Stitch (and a spot ahead of Fantasia 2000). And Disney's best sequel, I think, and a nice mix of adventure/romance/action, et cetera. With some beautiful animation, that at times, literally soars. And the score, and...but I do recommend it if you haven't seen the whole thing, Secret Disney Man.

(So ends my obligatory pro-RDU rave.)

Geez Tangela I cant win with you
First I pick Rescuers Down Under over Rescuers, now this.
Well, I think Black Cauldron has the worst animation quality of any Disney movie.
They tried to make a darker themed movie, and yet stuck in cutesy characters - you know that furball(I cant remember the name) which is possibly the worst Disney character ever.
It is really the only Disney animated classic I just dont like. If I want to watch a dark animated movie I will stick with Heavy Metal or the Dark Crystal.

I think you may have been kidding about the being offended part, but if you were kidding then please don't be offended simply because someone didn't like the movie. Personal opinions float all over these boards and if people got offended any time someone said something that they did not like, we wouldn't have a board anymore because people would be forever arguing.Tangela the Little One wrote:Well! I'm deeply offended! What's wrong with the Black Cauldron?JimmyJackJunior wrote:Seen em all. Although I think I really wish I hadnt seen Black Cauldron.

Oh? Taran? Yeah, I hated him too! No reason to hate the movie!
I didn't care for the Black Cauldron much either but I still have it in my Disney DVD collection. That is just my opinion, no need to get mad over that. I am sure there are movies that I love that you don't but I am not going to get mad about it. You can't please everyone and that is part of life. I am just thankful that we are able to have a forum where we are allowed to post our opinions.
I haven't seen Melody time, Make Mine Music, Three Caballeros.
Oh, and Tangela where did you get the art for that super-neat Cinderella avatar that you made me? I would like to see more!
