Dude, we had some very good things under early Eisner!!! It's just the last 7 or 8 years that need to be reverted!MickeyMousePal wrote:Fix everthing as it was before Micheal Eiseir came to Diseny.
I think we here would all love this, but I'm not sure it would be wise marketing strategy.MickeyMousePal wrote: Make all Disney films 2 disc CD's
I really like both of these and think they are wonderful ideas. Sure, they can use some tweaking, but I don't want to see them totally ditched.MickeyMousePal wrote: Take out "Who wants to be a Super Millionaire" to ABC.

Yeah. Rather than go back to pre-Eisner, just go back to the point when Frank Wells died. It has been downhill since then.awallaceunc wrote:Dude, we had some very good things under early Eisner!!! I would like to see the 5 to 10 minute cartoon brought back. Telling a story in a short time is tough and hard to create without the characters expressing a lot of content in their actions. Unleash some creativity and get away from the set formula of the past 10+ years (parent dies, befriend, rise above to accomplish great things) The cartoons could then be used to create new franchises, program material for the networks and DVD compliation sales.
Is there anything better than watching a child see a disney character either onscreen or in person?

I meant take out "Who wants to be Super Millionaire" showing it more on television not taking out for good.
Merge Toon Disney and The Disney Channel.
I don't have Toon Disney.
At least show some Toon Disney Shows on the Disney Channel.

A lot of good suggestions have been made, but here is my shorlist.
The board should immediately start looking for a new CEO and Chairman, since both positions are about to be vacated.
Make sure there are better rules for Management being able to get large bonus packages. Make it so that any bonus package is tied into the stock price. And do not waver from the original agreement.
Get Roy Disney and Stanley Gold back. Ask Roy to be head of Video Division.
Quit making DTV sequels to animated movies.
Cancel the stupid reality shows, and write better comedies for ABC instead.
Only show Millionaire during sweeps periods.
Go back to the regime of doing nightly maintenence at the all the Parks. (Paint, Lights, and Wash Streets)
Fix broken attractions and remove leftover parts from attractions that have been shut down.
Stop manufacturing cheap merchendise.
Re-open Orlando Animation.
Get TV animation studio to work on television shows, instead of DTV movies.
Give Hillary Duff a better compensation package, and get her to come back and do more Lizzie.
Renegotiate with Pixar, and give them better compensation.
Stop making silly games as extra features on DVD's. Make more substantial extra's instead.
Cancel policy to not make 2-disc special editions for new animated films.
Release all films OAR, with new Transfers.

Well, it may be good for you, lol; but I don't think it would be so good for Disney.MickeyMousePal wrote:I meant take out "Who wants to be Super Millionaire" showing it more on television not taking out for good.

Josh, I completely agree with everything you suggested. Our lists reflect a lot of the same needed changes. I think Disney should hire us. Let's apply.

That's funny, because I posted my list before I read most of this thread. When I went back and read the other posts, I saw that many of my requests are the same as other's here. I think this just goes to show that it's not just Roy and Stan that have issues with the company. Many of the fans also have issues with the management, and many of them are coming to the same conclusions about what the problems are.

Yeah, I totally agree... the public isn't stupid, they can tell when the magic is fading. It's not just Roy & Stan or even Diane... but Eisner & Co know that.
