http://kinobizon.ru/2012/06/17/relizovo ... -kinotavr/Animated Patriotic Ribbon Snow Queen 3D Production Studio Wizart Animation (co-producer Inlay Films) has already been presented in previous kinorynkahsozdatelyami, and now has found a caring distributor. Bazelevs set a date for the start of January 3 next year - it is tempting to get a theater in the package, several potential hits, and posoprotivlyayutsya active "batch" painting from the "Karoprokata." The second week will run Three Heroes on the far side ("Our Cinema"), which have a clear head start. There is MARCO Macaques ("Luxor") - the film may repeat the fate of MONSTER IN PARIS ("Paradise"), lost in the company of powerful competitors in the BNNB 2011-12. Why Snow Queen took the stand on January 3? Why does not the Hobbits? This is perhaps the main question. Obviously, the animation can earn at least 150 million rubles less (a maximum of 250 million) on the current date than the date with the hobbits.

I have combined the Russian version, 1957 English version, and the 1998 Jove version of, "The Snow Queen," with AVS video editor, and created a fully restored version of my own using the 1957 English audio, and a borrowed audio from it to cover the gap. Also, I've included the new, "Universal Pictures 100 Years," logo before the movie, since it has distributed that movie in 1959, after the Russian release. It is kind of lazy when collaborating three versions instead of sticking to one version that has the best quality unlike any other, but it's worth editing to express my interest. I've watched it almost many times after my hard work, and it's magnificent. I wish that I could've upload it on YouTube, but I don't think Soyuzmultfilm (the studio that created, "The Snow Queen") and/or Universal Studios would be pleased to see a copyrighted movie in public without permission. However, they are okay with the Jove version that was re-recorded in 1998, because itvwas very awful.
Kirsten Dunst, it's not your fault! Jove hired you to show off their recording against Universal's recording!
To be honest, I like the 1959 English version, because it made, "The Snow Queen," a cult classic. In Jove's version, I find it as an insult to the cult classic. For example, in, "Star Wars VI: The Return of the Jedi," 2011 release I believe, the got Darth Vadar to say, "NO," almost two to three times while the emperor Darth Sideous kills Luke Skywalker for not joining in the dark side. They should've leave it the way it is.
Now I know what you're going to say after the example I have brought up about leaving old movies or versions alone. You are just about to say that Wizart Animation should leave the 1957 version of, "The Snow Queen," the way it is, and stick to their own projects. But I have a question for you. What about Disney's hit Tim Burton feature, "Alice in Wonderland," the REMAKE of Walt Disney's animated feature (except Tim Burton's version is live action)? Shouldn't Disney leave that alone, and stick to new stories than redue the old for the new? Or how about Disney's, "Maleficent," a REMAKE to Walt Disney's, "Sleeping Beauty (except, "Maleficent," too is live action)?" There's even tons to list: "The Jungle Book," "101 Dalmatians," "Shaggy Dog," "Flubber," and many more. In fact, did you know that Merrie Melodies and MGM cartoons created too many adaptations of, "Red Riding Hood?"
There's nothing wrong with Wizart Animation completing their version of, "The Snow Queen." They're trying to express their version compared to the 1957 version in the modern way, since the 1957 version is almost directly. Any studio can create a remake or new version, as long as it tells differently, like DreamWorks Animation's, "Puss in Boots," compared to, "The True Story of Puss in Boots." I will say this: May the best version win between Wizart Animation's, "The Snow Queen," and Disney's, "Frozen."
P.S. Sorry to disappoint to you Disney fans, but I believe that Wizart's version may have a higher chance than Disney's version, since their version has received very positive feedback according to the site that I have posted before. But who knows? Maybe Disney might prevail since they are all about adapting fairy tales. In fact, Disney has shown their concept arts at D23, and received very high positive feedback. But you know what's funny? Disney unleashed their synopsis ahead of time while Wizart unleashed theirs at a proper moment than early. Well Disney has put it in production since 2002 until it got scrapped. And now, this is the year to do it, except in a new name similar to Disney's, "Tangled (Rapunzel)."

I don't know what's going on, but Wizart Animation has updated their synopsis of, "The Snow Queen," again. And this time, it looks more detailed, but not the kind of synopsis I had in mind.

This is what I believe the synopsis should go. I believe that the Snow Queen captures painting artists such as Kai to paint nothing but Winter to give her immortality. However, if any paintings are Spring and not Winter, or if her Winter paintings are destroyed (by Gerda), then she will lose immortality, and melt her heart of ice away.A charismatic 40-year-old woman lures a teenage boy into coming with her to an ice villa where she lives as a recluse, freezing her body to stop the proliferation of cancer cells. She believes she has to break a young boy’s heart to survive.
Oops, I just gave away the ending.

I don't care if you don't care and/or if anybody cares. I just like to post articles that talk about this thread. Besides, what if it affects Disney's, "Frozen (The Snow Queen)," if it gets recognized in the U.S. Then Disney would be in big trouble. I've read and posted an article about two studios in California that have provided the English dub for the Russian version.estefan wrote:You do realise nobody else actually cares about this Snow Queen, right?

Exactly the point. Disney's version changes names to create their own characters to entice their perspectives. However, their characters resemble to the characters of the book (but not the story), like two direct-to-video releases of, "The Snow Queen," and its sequel, "The Snow Queen's Revenge," both by Martin Gates Productions from Great Britain. Of course, their version of, "The Snow Queen," directly follows the story, same for Wizart. In Disney's version, they've changed the story to make it more epic than the original, like Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)."FigmentJedi wrote:I do. BrainstormOn the second day of the St. Petersburg forum team by Timur Bekmambetov has arranged a show. You do not require to organize outdoor events - it was enough to turn the cinema "LenExpo" a full-fledged concert venue: the action of an impromptu "blue fire" took place directly in the room and the image was broadcast live on the big screen. The first guests of the concert program began Brainstorm. Latvian indie rockers led Hall to delight his hit Maybe. Then the band performed a lyrical song "Shine clear," which will be heard at the end credits of the Snow Queen .
Featured footage twenty minute animated picture completely changed the idea of its potential. If earlier Wizart Animation and Cartoon Inlay Film many perceive as a "dark horse", at the presentation of "Bazelevs" it became apparent that Snow Queen - a product of at least European quality, with excellent graphics, music and 3D. New date for him is perfect - the audience will want to magic and adventure, and the Snow Queen , unlike Nutcracker two years earlier, to fully meet the needs of the audience. Travel Gerda and troll (they dubbed the singer and actor Ivan Nyusha Okhlobystin) to save Kai will include a visit to the magical garden and the pirate ship stuck in the ice. The ending of history should be the battle between good and evil in the icy realm of the Snow Queen.
Given that the New Year will be a family project is not something that would be a lot ( BOGATYRI yes, perhaps, and all), you can be sure now that Snow Queen must not repeat the fate Smeshariki .
And here's another, and most importantly, release "Bazelevs" GENTLEMEN OF FORTUNE , by contrast, rather disappointed than surprised and pleased. Left on stage actor Antonio Bogdanov and Gosha Kutsenko entertained audiences no worse than Sergei Svetlakov and Vera Brezhnev and Mikhail Galustyan yesterday. Booker were shown to the best funny video from the set, where Sergey Bezrukov fought imaginary Jason Steytemom and Gosha Kutsenko image avatar Egyptians offered sexual services.
Unfortunately, the footage directly to the film made less impression. It little jokes and credibility, and the trio Bezrukov-Bogdanov-Kutsenko not a circumstance to Leonov-Kramarova-Vitsin. It is hoped that GENTLEMEN OF FORTUNE compensate comedy component Action (prison break during a sandstorm and the race to "KAMAZ" in the desert), and romance (between the heroine and hero-investigator Bezrukov).
A detailed analysis of the NG-battle after the presentations "Cinema Expo» read in the next issue of e-mailing "BK".
