Timon/Pumbaa Fan as also hilariously cynical.

I'm still here. Check my posts, every one is a gem. Somedays there's just not a lot to add to a conversation.PeterPanfan wrote:I miss Lazario and Chris.
I barely post anymore either, but I also miss reading posts from Scaps, Amy, Brendan, Aaron, etc.

I am here! I often go through lurking phases, but there are some times when for whatever reason I don't go on the forum for other reasons, such as busy personal life (such as when I've had exams) or lack of internet (as with the period in late 2008 to early 2009). I am actually fairly busy now, and will probably not post as much as I want in the immediate future.
My picks sometimes fall into the category of people who have sorta gone (either they're still kinda here but don't post much at all anymore, or have gone but only fairly recently). There are others who probably escape me at the moment, but here we go...

And as for Tangela, he was the net's No. 1 Rescuers fan. All rumours of deluxe editions of The Rescuers that appear probably were made by the Internet personality formerly known as Tangela.

Tangela was everything from a child to a famous authoress to a porn star his list of identities went on and on. Couldn't keep his stories straight a Rescuers fanatic the first one mind you 2nd one was horrible. As well as cheap foreign animation. About tangela in a nutshell.Goliath wrote:Too bad I missed Tangela... sounds like good forum drama.![]()
And someone who's the biggest Rescuers fan, I'd like to meet, of course.

I remember when Timon/Pumbaa fan suddenly pop in randomly in the Princess and frog thread and talking about how the film was an excuse made so "Obama's ugly kids have something to dress up as for holloween". It cracked me up but created a shitstorm with the others bitching and whining over it. And Timon/Pumbaa Fan didn't even give a fuck.

Pretty much just what other people, especially Maerj, have been saying. Changing his identity, posting obscene stuff in the chatroom, sending some pretty unnerving personal attacks (I believe that they were more than just "you suck/you're a freaking worm" messages) and other little things. I probably think that he was an isolated teenager, most likely bullied to no end at school (look at his interests and consider he was a 14/15 year-old) and possibly lay somewhere on the autistic spectrum, and let a lot of crazed emotions out on here. In short, he was by all means an unhinged figure. I think he left people feeling uneasy for so long as he was really one of the first "psychos" to grace this board, period.Disney Geek wrote:As a relatively new member, I'm interested.
What did this Tangela do that made him/her so creepy?
Also, does anyone remember that guy "dan-whateverhislastnamewas" who always used to post the same "Does anyone know when "xyz" is coming out?" topic over and over again?

We've got a new Roald Dahl or J.K. Rowling on our hands!
Of course it created a shitstorm. Who in his right mind would say something as vile like that? I mean, his kids are like 6 and 11 years old, so why do they have to be dragged into anything, let alone to make fun of them? I think it's a cruel thing to do. And, "ugly"...? Malia (the oldest) is a very pretty girl. (No, S.A., not in that way!)Super Aurora wrote:I remember when Timon/Pumbaa fan suddenly pop in randomly in the Princess and frog thread and talking about how the film was an excuse made so "Obama's ugly kids have something to dress up as for holloween". Did Timon/Pumbaa fan get banned for that? I'm not surprised it created a shitstorm. It's lower than anything I've read on this forum first hand.Super Aurora wrote:I remember when Timon/Pumbaa fan suddenly pop in randomly in the Princess and frog thread and talking about how the film was an excuse made so "Obama's ugly kids have something to dress up as for holloween". By the way, Wonderlicious, thanks for telling me more about the infamous Tangela. Those personal attacks must have been awful

He wasn't serious when he said that. Just making a crass joke.Goliath wrote: Of course it created a shitstorm. Who in his right mind would say something as vile like that?
