Animalia, it took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out what you meant, but now that I have--EEE that would be adorable/hilarious!! I'm sure there's a way you could make it happen, just need to do some alterations....

I think that this might be for Oregon (?)...Mason, you better read this if it's near you!

I get emails from Wild About Movies, and there was a link for Tangled screenings:

Hi guys!!! I was looking a spanish Disney forum, and there was a post about the latin american recording of Tangled. Rapunzel's voice has posted on her twitter a photo of the recording set, and there was a page with the lyrics of a song, and I think it's a reprise of "When will my life begin?".
I cant't read two words, but it's something xD
Now I'm out of home, so I can't post the image right now
Well, here are the translation of the lyrics =)

"MY LIFE STARTS HERE" (Must be the adaptation of When will my life begin?)
I'm close to that eternal world
To that big thing I wouldn't dare
Here I am, finally I have to do it
What if...? I won't do it
Grass and earth (2 missing words) I imagine
The breeze blows and now with it I'll go.

Well! That's it!! This kind of remind me Ariel's "Part of your world"
If the music is great as I imagine, I will love it!!!!

Bu the way, Sorry about possible horrible english, I wrote this vert fast!!

Oh my god oh my GOD I can go to the one in PA! I just RSVP'd, if I get the passes & see it I'll try my best to pay attention to every detail & relay them back to you guys!

EDIT: Got the response email! Can anyone vouch for how legit this is? I don't wanna show up to the theater and have them stare at me like I'm nuts....

Also, how early do you think I should be there to make sure I get seats?

^ Congrats!!! :pink: I don't know about the legitness, but I go to a lot of free movie screenings, and get there at least an hour early, but for a movie as popular as this, you'd honestly want to get there 2 hours early at least...really, take half a day off from work or school just to be safe!

Thank you! I've never been to an advance screening before so I'm freaking out a bit....half excited and half anxious as anything! I checked the listing for the theater and it doesn't mention Tangled anywhere....are these things pretty, I dunno, secret? I'm most afraid of driving out there (it's not exactly next door XD ) and being turned away because there's already a huge line....

From "Snow White" to "Tangled," Disney's tradition of villains you love to hate lives on

Yup. The theater isn't necessarily the one running the screening- there are other companies- so they just give use of the theater, but they don't advertise the screening.

Okay, good to know at least there isn't a big sign telling everyone and their mother to come out XD Thank you again!

I guess if anyone has anything about the movie in particular they'd like to know, now would be a good time to write up a list & I will do my best to look for those things tomorrow (assuming, hopefully, that everything goes smoothly & I get in to see it). I will of course pay extra attention to the music, but I'm not very knowledgable about such things beyond 'what a great/catchy tune!' vs. 'meh,' so I'm not sure how much help I can be, but again I'll do my level best XD

Maybe if someone that goes to a screening could write down some lyrics he/she hears.
Or is that not done?

Rapunzel is now one of The Disney Store's singing dolls!

Post by Jackoleen »

Dear Disney Enthusiasts,

If you're a Disney doll enthusiast, as I am, you're gonna LOVE the latest news from The Disney Store! The regular Rapunzel doll looks cool, but this new, 18 inch Singing Rapunzel doll, who resembles the regular Rapunzel doll, is even cooler!

I don't know if the url works...

What do you think of the new Rapunzel doll? I'm hoping to find both the regular Rapunzel doll AND the Singing Rapunzel doll at The Disney Store this Winter!

Thank you in advance for your replies.

There's a couple reviews over on the Micechat board (see the entertainment section) and both are positive. 8)
