Also (and this isn't very reliable), for some reason I can just easily see Hercules go 2-Disc. As a matter of fact, I can see that going 2-Disc before Treasure Planet. It's just one of those things, I guess. Besides, it's a recent enough film that Disney can easily put together EPK material along with some new stuff.

On the Treasure Planet note, since when have there been rumors of a 2-Discer? I haven't heard a thing, though I do think it's likely either way.
As with "Lilo & Stitch", Disney produced enough material for "Treasure Planet" to fill two discs. But when the film flopped, it was decided to go with the one-disc only release. :(
Pretty much everything that is going to be said about the discs has been said. However, I would like to agree with the fact that many of the 90s films COULD go double-disc, simply because there is more material available for them.

Further, the "2-disc" is becoming a standard marketing tool (whether there is material to fill it or not), and so many re-releases will opt for a 2-disc set anyways. LK 1.5 was only a 2-disc because that is pretty much the industry standard, IMO. If Disney does decide to release any of these, chances are we could get 2-discers on them. I mean, who really saw an Alice Masterpiece coming a year or so ago? We already had a half-decent SE (more "special" than most classics that were not plantinum releases anyways). It wasn't really necessary, but there you have it.

I think it is all fair game until we hear about the release of a given title. All it takes is an arbitrary number (45th anniversary, 35 or something) for a 2-discer to come out. That's why I still think it is possible to see a 20disc set on any given DVD, particularly Hercules, Hunchback or even Treasure Planet.
