I'm not really offended by the sig but I always thought that Luke said that he wanted this board to be kid-friendly, devoid of all inappropriate language/pictures. Am I right?

Funny Tangela!

I agree with MMBoy. I was going to send a PM to Luke about it, but someone beat me to commenting on it. I too think it's not appropriate for this forum. I wouldn't want my kids looking at a picture like that. I'm sure that there is no connection to pornography or anything like that, but I'm sorry, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was, "This is inappropriate, especially on a Disney Forum."

Kids have to deal with enough crap elsewhere, lets not have it here.

My $.02 on this...and I've been doing this a lot lately so I might be out around $1 by now :D

I just don't think we need to have pics in signatures, period. Not for bandwidth or personal preference issues, but because for our dial-up users it's one more element that takes a page longer to load and/or refresh.

That being said, I personally do not have a big problem with his picture choice. Maybe he could make it smaller, but other than that I don't. It's not something any of us are forced to look at....simply scroll down the page or ignore those posts entirely if you are offended.

On a related note, this might be another perfect example of why we could use an "ignore" feature in the forums. For thos enot familiar with this, it allows you to ignore all posts from whatever person(s) you designate. Even if that person posts in a thread you will not see it if you have them on "ignore" ... unless someone quotes them.

why would we want to ignore him? it's best if he takes the pic all together I dont think ignoring him would be good. noone except 3 people have pics of their signatures i think the ones under their name it's sufficient enought unless they plan to donate money to the site for carrying those pictures. that's my $5 bucks in your Jar mr. Indianapolis

I agree with MickeyMouseboy on this one. The picture in question is definately not something I wish to see on a Disney forum. Please remove it ASAP.

My 12 and a half cents on this is:

I'm not offended by his signature picture, BUT just glancing at it, it DOES sort of look like a porno banner ad, but I wouldn't want to tell him that he can't express himself in any way that he wants to.

Also, I think that any future complaints like this should be sent privately and POLITELY to either the person or to Luke. That might help people not to feel bad or awkward and may quickly and quietly alleviate any possible problems.

Lastly, I think that we should eliminate all pictures in signatures and also avoid posting pictures on the forum. Post links instead, they are fun and take up much less bandwidth.

Great thoughts there. I second that.
