I'm going to try these as much in order as possible:

Snow White 10/10-seeing as how this is the first, it can't be any lower. Although the characters seem a little transparent, and the first half is a little dull, without it, we wouldn't have all the other greats.

Pinocchio 8/10-it was my first VHS, and will always have a special place in my heart. Sometimes it borderlines on being too "kiddie" though.

Bambi 9/10-almost perfect. It bored me as a small child, though.

Dumbo 7/10-the first movie to make me cry, but it definitely borderlines on being "kiddie"

Cinderella 10/10-after a long dryspell, this was a long-awaited saviour for the Disney company. Can't help but fall in love with it.

Sleeping Beauty 9/10-almost perfect, but frightening and intense for younger ones.

Alice in Wonderland 7/10-borderlines on being "kiddie" and episodic

Peter Pan 10/10-perfect. Captures what childhood is supposed to be.

The Rescuers 9/10-made at the wrong time, and highly underrated. If only Snoops was less comical, and more evil.

The Little Mermaid 10/10-perfect

Beauty and the Beast 10/10-perfect

Aladdin 8/10-loved it as a kid, but now I find the Genie so annoying.

Lion King 8/10-highly overrated.

Pocahontas 9/10-very underrated.

Hunchback 10/10 although very intense, this is one of the first Disney movies for grownups

Tired of typing, so I'll do the others later.
Defy Gravity...

I thought I should bump this up because there is a lot of new people that might want to participate.

Well, this is partly why I don't like ratings systems of any kind - giving a number to a film without a explanation is a but wacky.

For example, a number of people have rated Snow White and Hunchback as a 10/10 (or a similar combination of Snow White and a later film). Both are great films. I personally love them both. But how do you even begin to compare the two of them? Both might be worth 10/10, but were made in completely different times and spaces. Then you start to move into more dangerous territory, and by giving Hunchback 10/10, it is just as good as...I don't know....The Godfather, which one might also rate highly. Both fine films, but chalk and cheese. I guess my point is that I don't like these "ratings" systems because it forces people to unfairly compare possibly completely different films.

This is not a comment on the people who have posted here, as you all know the films quite well presumably, but a comment on star and number ratings generally. It is just a problem I have. I'm dealing.

Oh, and Lilo and Stitch - 10/10. :D

1. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - 7/10 (I find the plot very bland, but I have to give it credit for being Walt's first full-length animated feature)

20. The Aristocats - Haven't seen in a long long time so I won't rate it.

I just saw Hunchback, and added my rating to my list. I really liked how it kept a reletively small scope on essentially 4 characters, and the emotional effect from Quasi's humiliation in the Festival was just suberbly heartbreaking. Also, Frollo was a great villian, although a bit single-sided. As others have brought out before, most the humor was totally out of place, and lowered my grade on the movie somewhat.

ok, here I go:

-SNOW WHITE 9.5
This movie is almost perfect, perhaps it is too cheesy for these days, so I find some scenes quite boring, like the "someday my prince will come" sequence that makes me press the "forward" button.
-PINOCHIO 7
I never liked this too much, visually is amazingly beautiful, but makes me yawn sometimes, specially when the cricket sings.
-FANTASIA 8
This movie is a classic masterpiece, and the wizard aprentice sequence is an icon.
-DUMBO 8.5
Beautiful movie, I cry every single time I see the scene when Dumbo visits his mom in that cell.
-BAMBI 8
haven't seen this movie in ages, the only thing I can remember is that I used to like it
-SALUDOS AMIGOS 6
-TREE CABALLEROS 7
-MAKE MINE MUSIC 7.5
-FUN AND FUNCY FREE 7
-MELODY TIME 7
-ICHABOD AND MR. TOAD 7.5
-CINDERELLA 10
this movie is absolutely wonderfull, the story, the animation, the music, all on this movie is great.
-ALICE IN WONDERLAND 9
visually beautiful, some missing parts from the book, but it is entertaining and fun.
-PETER PAN 9
another classic, when I think of disney, I always remember tinkerbell as an icon, and Hook is a great villian.
-LADY AND THE TRAMP 10
beautiful dog movie, romantic and suspencefull, a masterpiece with all its letters.
-SLEEPING BEAUTY 10
this movie s art!!!!! is a moving panting, the screenplay is not perfect, some plot holes, but still an awesome movie.
-101 DALMATIANS 10
this one has style, a fashion movie, the music, the backgrounds, the animation, simply beautiful
-JUNGLE BOOK 9
I found this movie quite entertaining, the mexican dubbing is outstanding and the songs make me sing for hours
-SWORD IN THE STONE 8
-ARISTOCATS 8
-ROBIN HOOD 9
-WINNIE THE POOH 9
-RESCUERS 8
good story and animation, Medusa is great, but I don't like the songs at all.
-FOX AND THE HOUND 9
yes, one of those movies that make me cry too, only four disney classics can do that
-BLACK CAULDRON 7
-GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE 8
-OLIVER AND COMPANY 8
-LITTLE MERMAID 10
the best disney classic since dalmatians (IMO), this movie is flawless, fun and romantic
-RESCUERS DOWN UNDER 8
-BEAUTY AND THE BEAST 10
need I say more? this is the perfect animated movie
-ALADDIN 10
another flawless masterpiece
-LION KING 10
a phenomenon, a classic movie (not just animated), this is the most succesfull, requested, beloveb and hated tradicionally animated movie off all time
-POCAHONTAS 8

Agreed. Also, if no Disney movie has earned a full 10 out of 10, then that kind of skews things, imo... provides no measure of excellence in terms of Disney films. I think it's been reached a few times, but that's just my opinion.

Really? This surprises me. I'm not crazy over the plot, or the book-to-screen process for this one, but the songs and the fact that it's a best-seller gives it bigger props in my book. So you've peaked my interest, lol. Care to comment?
