Tyler2834 wrote:Will we recieve the UP Steel Book along with the order? Best Buy is doing so.
As Far as I know....the Steel Book is exclusive to Best Buy with a downpayment reservation for $7.50 and you get the Steel Book at the same time you reserve Up for $7.50....that is for the USA....now in from Canada I've heard that Futureshop I think its called is having a lot of steel books....

so In short...no I don't think Amazon will be having the Steel Book UP in the US as its a Best Buy Exclusive though sometimes amazon gets exclusives that are the same or similair to retailers such as Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart and more

Best Buy is the only place in the US to get the Steelbook.

I preordered it at Best Buy, but it ended up being cheaper for me to get it through amazon.com. They gave me $10 off for buying it with Monster's Inc. Then they gave me another $10 off as a thank you for buying Snow White from them. And then I got a third $10 off as a gift for trading in $50 worth of DVDs. So my total for both films from Amazon was around $25. Even when adding the $7.50 I paid for the Steelbook, it's still cheaper than buying both elsewhere. I doubt anywhere will have a deal where you can get both for less than $40.

Wait, what? What's this about? I bought Snow White from them also and haven't anything about this.

I'm not sure why they gave it to me. I bought the Ultimate Collectors Set and used their $10 off promotion on it. After they shipped it, I got an email from them saying that as a thank you for buy Snow White from them, they were giving me a $10 credit. So maybe it's because I got the big box set? I dunno.

I will pass on this. I am not one to pre-order movies. I just buy them whenever they come out and am in no hurry to buy them.

I'm in no hurry either, which is WHY I'm pre-ordering  I'd get both eventually, so I may as well get 'em for a good deal!

Steelbook completist that I am, I have already ordered my "Monsters, Inc" and "UP" from Best Buy. Plus I have a $15 gift card from when I bought "Sleeping Beauty" and "Snow White" together a few weeks back, so my shopping will be pretty cheap when these two titles hit the shelves.

Despite the fact that many naysayers believe there won't be a coupon for UP, this link leads to believe there will be one: http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/anima ... uponoffer/

Thoughts? Speculation?

That seems mildly promising. If you try it with any other movie, it gives you an error, which sounds safe. I really hope they put a coupon up. I'd buy it ASAP if there were. Otherwise, it goes on my back burner for the time being.

I'm hoping we get a coupon for those who already have Monsters, Inc. in their collection. As that is what the Snow White coupon was advertised as.

In my dreams:
Toys R Us will have Up and Monsters for $20 each.
Buy both and get $10 off.
Minus $10 Up coupon.
Minus $10 Monsters coupon.
Minus $5 Pre-Order.
= $5 Total

I put this in white in case Disney sees this and I am the problem that this won't happen.

I think that could as easily happen when there is world peace and there would be an end to this worldwide lack of pie crisis.....or the day Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck run for trhe white house and win...

speaking of pie..

So how does the deal work with getting an additional $10 off for ordering Snow White? Do you have to order it at the same time or do you just use the same account you used to order it in the past? Is there a code to put in? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)

The $10 off Snow White promotion ended last week. There was a coupon you could print out to buy it in stores or you could enter the code "snowhite" at checkout on Amazon.com.

No, I'm asking about the Up / Monsters, Inc. promotion where you get an additional $10 off the total (after the initial $10 off for purchasing the two together) if you purchase(d) Snow White from the same place. I got my copy off of Amazon.com a few weeks ago, so I'm curious if I'm eligible for that additional $10 off.

Check your amazon account on the order...I noticed they have been really doing well at updating prices if its lower now than when you ordered them two weeks ago....such as now UP the four disc blu ray dvd etc is now $22.99 and its applied to my order...

also if you don't find that you got the discount since this isn't a limited thing I would suggest you cancel your order than re-order it and it should apply the $10 discount at the checkout although you probably should get sa second opinion and also I don't have amazon prime....so idk if that plays a factor if you have that or not

here's the price of mine what it looks like when you use standard shipping

Item(s) Subtotal: $47.48
Shipping & Handling: $3.97
Best Value Savings: -$10.00
-----
Total Before Tax: $41.45
Estimated Tax: $0.00
-----
Grand Total: $41.45

EDIT - I just realized what you were saying.....and when you get to the payment part of selecting a credit card or payment it should show a $10 thank you or something to that effect and you can click on that box

here's one for when I ordered Terminator and Ben 10 alien swarm together

Item(s) Subtotal: $31.98
Shipping & Handling: $3.97
Super Saver Discount: -$3.97
Snow White Thanks: -$10.00
-----
Total Before Tax: $21.98
Estimated Tax: $0.00
-----
Grand Total: $21.98

and also I think I got extra $10 discounts because I canceled my order off and on because I couldn't decide whether I wanted it through amazon....and somehow even though I didn't get Snow White through amazon I got like 4 $10 promos that I could use one per order on a differ order :o and thats how i felt nad I felt like this :o  :? :o :D
