I thought that I had posted in this thread before, but apparently not.

I've been reading JHM for years, and lately his articles haven't been as interesting (although yesterday's [?] article on Toy Story Mania had a link to where we could email to try and be a volunteer for a ride/tryout video that they'll be doing next week, and I applied...!), but I still read the majority of them (unless the article has nothing at all to do with Disney, I pretty much read them all).

Floyd Norman's articles are definitely the highlight of the site now. Didn't Jim mention a little while ago how he's lost contacts at Disney...was that because of John Lasseter? I don't really remember, but that could[/] be a reason...?

I still find the site very enjoyable! The archives are fun to read, too!

What happened to articles about movies and animation?

All he talks about now is theme park rides! It's bloody boring! I don't want to read that stuff. I want to read on the Disney films. What happened to the regular 'Toon Tuesday' article? At best, we sometimes get a smidgeon of news from Pixar.

But Walt Disney Animation Studios are never mentioned.
I couldn't agree more,he wirtes about DisneyLand or SeaWorld or other theme park, and a few times he wirtes about Pixar,he doesn't really wirte about Disney films, from his recent-I liked the WALL-E merchandise and the beginning of Enchanted articles,he needs to wirte more about Disney films.
Well,I"ve been in DisneyLand Paris in fall 2001 and almost everything was close because it was fall,I didn't even took a picture with a Disney character :( :x but I was in the Sleeping Beauty castle :D.

yes he lost his contact at Disney when John Lasseter took over. Under Lasseter's reign, when you speak out to the media, you're fired no questions asked.

Personally I'm glad about this, because Jim always found a way to spin the information he'd receive into something negative. He'd always creative negative press for upcoming Disney films. He was really ruining things.

Jim Hill's source didn't get fired because of Lasseter(if Disney had known who it was, they would've fired him/her years ago), he got fired because one of the negotiations in the Pixar deal was that the company would be reduced by firing about 1000 people.

This is intersting.
Thought it makes Seinfield sounds bad but why he whould insult Lasster? or maybe he doesn't mean to insult but Jim Hill make it look bad? :P I don't know,it doesn't look offensive.
