I for one can't wait to buy the new 50th anniversary edition of "Chicken Little" expected to be released this summer.

I hate how they are suddenly making all their "DVD versions" yellow...

The cover in general is a mess. It could use a clean up/ new art.

err once again we've denied of a proper color disc. Course I'm tempted to upgrade my Pooh films Many Adventures Of W.T.P (Winnie The Pooh) and Tigger's Movie

wow, the case itself looks really nice! The white case was a nice touch, I was thinking it would be the tradicional black case...
and could you tell us if there's any new previews on this dvd?

I LOVE the fact that Disney no longer does disc art on DVDs, but does them on digital copy discs that are useless after you download it.

Also, by love, I mean hate.

You and me both GoofyStitch. I'm surpised that Pinocchio's Platinum discs retained the color discs

Maybe disc art is one of the new "special" treatments given to the Diamonds. :roll:

So, I've never seen this film but I think I want to get this release... what are some basic critiques of this film?

:lol: On the up side, I think they're trying to encourage some creative home projects. For instance, you wouldn't make a mobile with actual working DVDs you bought, but digital copy discs past their expiration date... why not hang those things up for your little one or easily-amused-by-light-reflection pet? Or make a collage and frame it. Glue them onto a old, scratched up table. Turn them into proper coasters. The possibilities are endless!

Making special edition discs for these awful DTVA/DisneyToon products compounds the original mistake of making them in the first place. They shouldn't be held comparable to the Walt Disney classic films in this way.

If you like Tigger, Roo, and the comedy style of the Hundred Acre Wood, you will probably like The Tigger Movie. It's by far the best of the Pooh films after The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and it's a very heartwarming story.

I'm just curious, is the Tigger movie worth getting? I do have the original Adventures of Winnie the Pooh in my DVD collection, But I don't have Tigger yet. I'm not a big fan of the sequels, however, I have given the sequels that had theatrical releases a chance. I actually haven't seen Tigger yet, but I do remember when it was released to theaters. So, is it worth getting?

Noticed on DMR that if you buy this and Witch Mountain you get an extra 50 points.

Of the Pooh sequels, I personally feel that Tigger is the second best, behind Piglet's Big Movie. I prefer that one because it follows the format of Many Adventures by stringing three short stories together. Also, the stories in that film were based on other Milne stories that weren't previously adapted by Disney. The Tigger Movie is an original story and the really great thing about it is that the Sherman brothers wrote the music. The Tigger Movie is one of the highlights of Disney Toon Studios and I don't think you would regret adding it to your collection, but it is not on par with the original.
