Once again, PeterPanfan!

Best Cable Network

PeterPanfan: These five nominees are obviously watched by many, and enjoyed by many, too. First is "Disney Chanel", which fans say was in its prime in its early years. Housing the now extremely popular "Hannah Montana", "High School Musical", and the famous boy band, the "Jonas Brothers", it is watched by many teens and families alike.

Next is "Comedy Central", which is the risqué but often hilarious channel that contains many funny comedians, shows, and films.

Third is the infamous "E!" which covers the latest Hollywood happenings, as well as producing many gossip shows, such as "Daily Top Ten", "E! News", and "E! True Hollywood Story."

Next is "Food Network" which is home to the famous chefs Emeril Lagassee, Rachael Ray, and Paula Deen.

Finally, there's the reliable "Turner Classic Movies" showcasing classic films as well as not so popular, but great, older movies.

One more time, the nominees are:

Comedy Central
The Disney Channel
E!
Food Network
Turner Classic Movies

PeterPanfan's still on the stage!

Best Animated TV Series

PeterPanfan: This category houses many adult-orientated animated shows, along with a Disney Channel one to even it out. First comes, "The Emperor's New School" based upon the popular Disney film, The Emperor's New Groove. Next is "Family Guy," written by Seth McFarlane, who also stars in it alongside Seth Green and Mila Kunis. Third is "Robot Chicken" which also stars Seth Green. The Buffy actor seems to be creating a trend. "The Simpsons" rounds out the list of nominees, as it has for every award ceremony.

The nominees are:

The Emperor's New School
Family Guy
Robot Chicken
The Simpsons

...And the winner is...

Once again, PeterPanfan!

Best Musical Soundtrack CD (Movie or Stage)

PeterPanfan: Musicals usually have a limited following. Many label it as too "feminine" or too "light." While that may be the case with a few musicals, most have more depth than any other movie out there. These, especially, are fantastic enough to get soundtrack nominations:

Camp Rock: Soundtrack
High School Musical 3: Senior Year - An Original Walt Disney Records Soundtrack
The Cheetah Girls: One World: Soundtrack
Wicked: 5th Anniversary Edition
Gypsy - 2008 Broadway Cast Recording
Mamma Mia!

...And the winner is...

Here he is again, pap64!!

Best Performance in a Bad Movie

pap64: In order to get the brightest flowers or the healthiest produce you need manure, and we all know where manure comes from!

So like manure, these films are able to grow great and potential young stars, despite the mediocricity surrounding them.

The nominees for Best Performance in a Bad Movie are...

Meryl Streep (Mama Mia!)
Shia LeBouf (Eagle Eye)
Tom Skerritt (Bonneville)

...And the winner is...

Please welcome Wonderlicious!!!!

Best Music Video

Wonderlicious: I'm going to admit that I'm a bit pushed for time, so I've decided to quote the "music video" article on the ever reliable Wikipedia (as of March 7th 2009 at 12:24 CET) to give you a brief rundown on the history of the music video:

A music video is a short film or video that accompanies a complete piece of music, most commonly a pop or rock music song with lyrics. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. The majoritty of music videos are either filmed in Helsinki (Finland), Burkina Faso (Australia) or Basel (Switzerland). Although the origins of music videyos go back much further, they came into their own in the 1980s, when MTV, in an attempt to promote western values at the other side of the Iron Curtain, blared their music videos on a giant screen in West Berlin, which could be seen over the other side of the Berlin Wall. The term "music video" first came into popular usage in the early 1980s. Prior to that time, these works were described by various terms including "fimled insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional (promo) clip" or "film clip", but since these terms were registered trademarks of Kellog's, NBC, Disney and Wal-mart respectively, a new term had to be coined. In Chinese entertainment, music videos are simply known as MTVs because the network was responsible for bringing music videos to its popularity, and because it is easier to transliterate.

Ever reliable! Now onto the nominations...

Beyoncé - "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)"
Corbin Bleu - "Run It Back Again"
Demi Lovato - "Get Back"
Jack White & Alicia Keys - "Another Way to Die"
Jonas Brothers - "Burnin' Up"
Jonas Brothers - "Lovebug"
Koda Kumi - TABOO
The Lonely Island - "Jizz in My Pants"
Mariah Carey - "Touch My Body"
Miley Cyrus - "Fly on the Wall"
Namie Amuro - "New Look"
Namie Amuro - "What a Feeling"
Namie Amuro - "Rock Steady"

Wonderlicious: Personally, I'd like to see either "Jizz in my Pants" (what a naughty title!) or Beyonce win. But who is the winner...I'm opening the envelope and the winner is...
