What I've come to understand is that Dreamworks and Nickelodeon were "Gold" sponsors for this year's ceremony, while everyone else, Disney, included, were only "Silver" sponsors. Sounds fishy if you ask me, but I've always considered the Annies to be a joke, anyway. Otherwise, King of the Hill wouldn't of lost to Robot Chicken and Ed, Edd, 'n Eddy wouldn't of been shafted for the past decade.

Do I think that Kung Fu Panda deserved to sweep house? It was certainly a good movie, and if I handed in my vote, I'd of given it a couple of votes myself, but I also thought WALL*E was a really fine movie, coming from a non-Pixar fan, that also deserved some awards of it's own. I can see where their bias comes from, but in all equalness, I can't say KFP really should of taken over.

You know who came out and supported Wall-E? The guys at Adult Swim.

They made a bump talking about how they won some Annies for their Star Wars special, and mentioned how it was "inconceivable" that Wall-E was snubbed at the Awards.

Who knew AS were supporters of the film? :p
