I don't hate the idea of these 2/3/4 movie packs (I happen to own the Sister Act one, as well as the Swan Princess 2-pack from Sony.), although for some, I'd rather have a Special Edition. I almost considered buying the 2-pack of Frida and Evita recently, only because I haven't been able to go into a store and find Evita on its own in ages, but I'd rather have an anamorphic version with bonus features. And no, "chapter access" has not been a bonus since about 2001.

I kinda want the Honey set, despite lack of widescreen, simply because I'd love to see these movies again, and I haven't seen them in ages. And the Flubber set as well. (I don't know that I've seen the movies, but they have to be superior to the shitty Robin Williams remake.) And I remember liking the remake of That Darn Cat, so I wouldn't mind having that one as well.

And also for some of these sets, there's good SEs out there but they don't get used for the sets, which annoys me.

Hmm, don't really care for Shaggy DA, but I'd still consider the Shaggy Dog 2-pack, since I can't find the original's DVD anymore.
Still need to pick up the Absent-Minded Professor and That Darn Cat! 2-packs beforehand(on the latter's case, while I don't care for the remake, I'm in the same boat as Shaggy, not being able to find it's solo DVD).

Sweet! I need both those and now I don't have to regret getting the first Honey film by itself (I anticipated IT would be released in the double feature).jrboy wrote:April 26, 2009

Honey We Shrunk Ourselves & Honey I Blew Up Kid
Guess I better try to find the single version of Shaggy D.A. somewhere while it's still available, unless the double feature will cost me about the same. I wish Cadet Kelly was coming out in a double! I need it for my Hilary Duff obsession collection, and I can't find it anywhere on its own anymore! Might have to get it online...

I suspect this may mean they will rerelease "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" in a better edition soon on its own, possibly 2-disc (hopefully Blu-Ray too). I hope so anyway (even though I just bought the first release).

I love both films (the sequel largely for its cast, its opening song, and nostalgia of it being a childhood favorite), but I already own the original. I think I'm going to do a check around town today to see if I can find D.A. on its own at a good price. If not, I'll have to get the 2-pack...Avaitor wrote:Hmm, don't really care for Shaggy DA, but I'd still consider the Shaggy Dog 2-pack, since I can't find the original's DVD anymore.

Anyone know if Inspector Gadget is anamorphic?
I own both of them separately - but the old DVD of Inspector Gadget is letterboxed, not anamorphic. I may look into this if it is.

I think amazon has the listing of the titles wrong of these 2
Computer Wore Tennis Shoes & Strongest Man World
I knew Disney was trying to appeal more to boys....but I didn't realize it was being called Strongest Man World and it was that bad
