Also look for a number of Featurettes covering the making of the movie, including a Tour of Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion ride. Further, the release will feature an Original Poem by Tim Burton, narrated by Christopher Lee. As another bonus feature you will find Tim Burton’s early Short Film “Vincent” on the disc, also.
The release will also mark Disney’s first foray into the Digital Copy realm, as the disc will include a digital copy of the film for download on mobile devices for viewing.
No Frankenweenie?

i bet they're saving that for the frankenweenie remake, i'm sure.
also, the haunted mansion holiday feature sounds really, really cool.
I hope that there's many more features.
The Haunted Mansion Holiday features reminds me of the Sleeping Beauty castle feature on the Sleeping Beauty PE.
It's a new version of the Original Poem? (I know that there's a version with Patrick Stewart on YouTube).
That is the stupidest looking cover art I have ever seen! It doesnt match the feeling of the movie at all, they totally should have done a cover a lot like the Special Edition one...
Cover art? where did you found a cover art?.
Edit:Nevermind,found it,I think it's beautiful and perfact .
August? oh no why not later,in November? now I"ll have to buy it later .

I second that!
As much as I'm not a big fan of this movie, I'm definitely picking this one up for the HMH special feature, and the commentary. Also the fact that I don't have NBC in any form on DVD.
I saw the cover art for the DVD and I have to say that has to be one of the worst cover arts Disney has ever produced. It just doesn't look right. I hope they revise it before they release the DVD in August.
Sounds pretty good and I don't have NbC on DVD yet, so I'll definitely pick this up on DVD.
I guess the Haunted Mansion special is gonna be really cool and definitely better than the previous release.
I would have liked an earlier release-date, though, since I have a flight back home from the US to Germany on August 25th, so yeah, kinda stupid
I'm not picky when it comes to cover art. I thought Peter Pan's Platinum was beautiful despite nearly everybody hating it. And I'm one of the few (probably only) who thought the first Sword in the Stone cover looked better than the revised one (for the upcoming summer release).
The only cover art I truly hate is Finding Nemo. Until now. LOL
But seriously, this is the worst cover art I have seen, bar-none in my life. It's hideous. I thought it was a joke. I could make a better cover spending 2 minutes in Paint.
I really, really hope they change it. I seriously will relpace the cover with the old Special Edition cover if it stays like this.
whada...is that cover art supposed to appeal to the gothic tween fans out there? and then once they put in the dvd....and watch the movie.theyd wish they never liked it.
i like the old VHS and region 2 cover the best..the one with sally and lock, shock, barrel. it reminds me of jolie pitt and her then 3 kids.

i believe that award goes to pocahontas special edition.
I'll Buy the blu ray and The 2-disc DVD....as usual... But that cover art just looks like a Invitation card to a Birthday Party..... Which I would know because when I was in the 2nd grade I had a Nightmare Before Christmas themed Birthday party... With a life size Jack Skellington Party Balloon
Omg... this Makes Cinderella II Special edition dvd cover art look like a masterpiece.....
Although I will agree it beats Floating heads
