Woohoo, a fellow Minutemen fan!Ames wrote:I'll get "Minutemen"- I really liked it
(I probably should've also pointed out that my high school's mascot was the Minuteman...so there's also some school pride in there too...even if I didn't care much for high school sports.)
[sarcasm]But Ames, don't you remember? They delayed The Aristocats from Spring 2007 to Winter 2008 in order to find more bonus materials for the two-disc special edition, just as the ad promoted it would be![/sarcasm].Ames wrote:I wonder if Disney will ever release 2-disc non-Platinum Editions again...
Walt Disney Home Entertainment...what a bunch of disorganized and lying bastards.
Let's make it 10 discs!Ames wrote:I'm all for this, if they would actually add special stuff. I think that the Gold Collection of TBC is the best Gold Collection disc (I'm not just being biased), but a nice documentary would be nice. I doubt we'll see that anytime soon.Barbossa wrote:Black Cauldron needs a special edition!!
As for TBC being the best GC disc? Sorry, I'll disagree there Ames. While it does benefit from quite an exciting and fairly generous Still Gallery, as well as having the theatrical trailer and "Trick or Treat", it's a non-anamorphic transfer with a fair amount of dirt and grain. The Sword in the Stone and Bedknobs and Broomsticks are better, if only for the anamorphic picture (B&B) and the larger amount of extras on both.
I have a feeling it's more probable we'll see The Sweatbox before we see Song of the South on Disney DVD.Ames wrote:I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE Disney to release "The Sweatbox", but, that too, is not very probable.
