This is perhaps the greatest Gargoyles trailer ever made. It is an opening/introduction to the comic books.

Any news on Greg looking into what needs to happen to get the final Gargoyles volume on DVD? Last fall I read he had a contact there now and was going to ask. I'm hoping this year will finish up this series along with the rest of the Disney Afternoon.

We'd have Gummi Bears vol 2, Chip & Dale, Tale Sprin, Gargoyles, and Darkwing vol. 3, Ducktales vol. 4. I'd love for that to happen and the next round of Disney Afternoon DVDs to begin. Let's see....there could be Bonkers, Goof Troop, and Aladdin started as the volume sets and then interspersed could be the 1 shot releases like Mighty Ducks, Wuzzles, Timon & Pumbaa, etc. Even Little Mermaid could be a 1 shot release if they'd ever do it. But I'd just be happy to get the series started completed this year.

Nothing yet. Again, Greg is sticking to his guns that we have got to keep supporting the show in other ways and mostly, passing it along to others about the DVDs and comics. The more sold, the more Disney will likely back it up and release the last half of season 2 to DVD.

The first episode I watched was the premiere episode back when I was 8 or 9. I remember looking forward to the series a lot after seeing the commercials for it. xD I've always, always liked Demona, right from the get-go. I thought her design was gorgeous and... and she had a really sexy voice.

Man... I loved Gargoyles, and it's still one of the best cartoons out there and it seems like something adults could enjoy as well (that can't just be my nostalgia talking... Gargoyles tackled some pretty damn mature topics). Really, they don't make animated TV shows like this for kids anymore.
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I succesfully hooked my grandfather on Gargoyles today. I was visting with my grandparents and I just happened to have a copy of Gargoyles Season One with me. I put it on and my grandfather really seemed to enjoy it. He loves history (something him and I have in common), so it was right up his ally. He only saw the first episode though, but he asked me if I could bring the DVD with me next time.

PeterPanfan, have you seen Gargoyles yet?

I recently ordered my copy of garg.vol1/seas1.
still waiting for it though
Must say, great show to grow up with, like many here i have fond memories to this one.
It also reminds me of a certain mummy animated series(approx. 1990???)just can't seem to remember right now, same storywise and visually not all that different.
Anybody knows to which I'm referring to?
Also if you like this, you might enjoy skeleton warriors as well!
When it comes to brains, I got the lion-share,
but when it comes to bruth strength, I'm afraid I'm at the shallow end of the gene pool

Hmm... I was scanning the comment board on Ask Greg, and someone found this: http://www.amazon.com./exec/obidos/ASIN ... eimprovemz.

It seems to only have been posted at the beginning of May, so it's new. Either it means Amazon just has a hunch that may or may not come true, or we sold enough Gargoyles Season Sets...

EDIT: I'm watching the second season right now. :P

EDIT 2: Someone on the board just posted they called Amazon. They said the execs know it's coming, just not when... :D :D :D :D :D

I feel somewhat dirty reporting what people are saying on that board though...

It's possible it's coming... just not set in stone. No pun intended.

So I suppose you could take it as a grain of salt.

Also considering that Gargoyles Season Three is listed too... Well, that what said to me that it could be fake.

I still say be hopeful. Think about it, we've been waiting all these years for the release and it's listed on Amazon just out of the blue. You can't be a fan and not say you're not at the least entinced.

Cool News...Maybe it will come out when the Next Volume of Darkwing Duck, ducktales and/or Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, Gummi Bears since those at least I think are coming but don't have a for sure release date

Some people, myself included, seem to think Greg may announce this (if it's true, of course) at the upcoming Gathering. Who knows, it is possible.

Very true...announcing it officially at the Gathering would be the best thing.

I was thinking about this last night, and my faith is shot. Specifically because Season Three is listed also, and I doubt Disney would release the third season so fast after keeping The Second Season, Vol. 2 away so long. I'm still crossing my fingers that Greg will make an announcement at the Gathering.

Siren, are you going to the Gathering? For that matter, is anyone here going? I'm not in a position where I can go up to Chicago for the Convention, but I can't tell you how mad I was when I missed last year's Gathering. The worst thing is, I was probably IN Pigeon Forge at the time. :x I still enjoy reading the accounts of what happened, though, and when I got Gargoyles: The Complete First Season, I really enjoyed watching the Gathering featurette. So someday, I'd like to go.

So, anyway... I'm a lot more skeptical about the release now. Makes me wonder, though, if enough people sign-up for updates on the Gargoyles page, do you think Disney will take notice? It might just do it...

GargoyleGoddes21 and I were going to meet in Chicago this year and go, but I'm not sure if that is going to happen now. I'm a bit closer than she is since I've gone back to school, but I still don't know if I can make it up there yet.

::runs to go try to convince GG21 this would be absolutely the coolest thing ever::

Ah, well, disneyfella, if you and GargoyleGoddess21 do get to go, I hope you can tell us about it here. It's just a week from now, right? :)

Has anybody done the math on how many Illumanati (SP?) members there are? I checked the archives on Ask Greg, and I know someone else has... Anyway... add 'em all together and there's six-hundred and sixty-six members... 666... surely Greg means something by this. I can't wait!

Anyway, tomorrow's the first day of The Gathering! I hope everyone who gets to go has fun!

Found this when I was searching for a picture of Melody. I've never seen the Goliath costume before, so I assume I'm not alone. Here ya go:
