The movie you are thinking about with the dad as an adroid was, "Still Not Quite Human". It was the third film in the 'Note Quite Human' series of Disney Channel movies. While I couldn't find any clips on youtube, here is a link to the VHS:

Hope that helps. As for Dennis the Menace.....you got me on that one....

The dog with the catchy harmonica tune might be a 1970s Disney tv movie called "My Dog, the Thief". It is available on DVD.
I was watching the recent "Disneyland, Secrets Stories and Magic" DVD. On the second disc, the Disney archivists talk about how Main Street was iced down for a skating segment where Mickey and Minnie both went ice skating. The special was called "Sandy in Disneyland" and they show a brief few seconds clip on the DVD. Here is a link to the YouTube posting of this rare special.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrFQ_YnNtuY
Now, I have a copy of this show on DVD from a different source, and I've watched this whole posting (all of the posts of this show) and I can NOT find where Mickey and Minnie go ice skating down mainstreet.....was this incorrect info on the Treasures DVD?

Does anyone remember this one?
It's called "Susie Q"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52r_fE8A0Qk
There are a few Disney movies that will probably not see the light of day again.......Exile, Susie Q, etc. They all involve teen drinking or drugs. There is hope that a co-production company might seek distribution elsewhere.....until then I'll stick with the ones I have

Speaking of "Exile" I found it up on YouTube also. I'm thinking this copy is the edited version, though.

There is an unedited version out there...*cough*......*cough*......believe me

I just wanted to say thank you, disneyfella, for posting all these links! It may take me a while before I go through all of them, but it's exciting to be able to watch these films!

Thanks for saying that Amy, that's real sweet. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one reading this thread anymore
. lol
I have a way of posting something in a thread and then no one posts there again.......lol. I'm never sure if it's because everyone agrees with what I said, or no one cares about what I had to say.......lol. I'm not sure I like either of those scenarios.....

I just got this TV special in today, and really enjoyed it. It is called "The Making of The Little Mermaid" and is hosted by Alyssa Milano. Why it wasn't included on the Platinum Edition DVD is completely beyond me. Thankfully, someone has posted it on YouTube. I highly recommend checking it out....it's only a mere 30 mintues!

MY.
GOD...
I remember Susie Q! Man, we must've watched that movie a hundred times on the Disney Channel. I'm pretty sure we still have it on VHS somewhere (and IIRC, the VHS also has half an episode of "Star Trek: Voyager"). Gotta go dig it up now for nostalgia. I always loved the part where she, Zach, and the little sister are doing something at the bank, and the sister is outside with the binoculars (with a cop suspiciously watching her.)
"Come on, come on, baby...(notices the cop)...fly away baby bird, fly away!" (or something like that...it's been years...)
I don't think I remember watching the TLM TV special...then again, we didn't get Disney Channel until 1994 so there's no chance I could have seen it anyway! Still, it's rather cool to see teenage Alyssa Milano. God, it must've been great to be a teen in the 80s falling in love with her.
They probably:That Disney Fella wrote:Why it wasn't included on the Platinum Edition DVD is completely beyond me.
1. Didn't want to pay Alyssa Milano any residuals for hosting it.
2. Figured the new documentary would cover the same ground and the old documentary, however nostalgic and valuable it is, would be redundant.
3. Didn't want to go searching in their library/archives the same way they didn't bother searching the library/archives for the trailer for Peter Pan.

Disneyfella, does anybody remembers that special? It was a TV special celebrated Mickey's 60 years in show business. I remember seeing this on TV since I was 10 years old in the Red Hook housing projects in Brooklyn, NY back in 1988 where I saw "Mickey's 60h Birthday" on WNBC-TV in New York city when it was being shown on my old 13" Samsung black & white TV, and I did recorded it on my cassette using my Panasonic portable stereo "Ghetto Blaster" boombox with a built-in microphone and I played it over and over again on my old cassette and it reflects back from my childhood.
I used to have an audio cassette of that special, but I lost it a long time ago, that was 20 years after I recorded it and watched it as well. I missed the good old days. And for my personal enjoyment, here is the whole special.
