And i think that they should get of all of those childish shows about teenage girls (That's So Raven,Hannah Montana,Kim Possible,The Proud Familiy,Lizzie McGuire etc.),it's all the same about a brat, snobish little girl with dumb perents and an annoying young sibling, and i can't believe that they think that those shows fit people who past age 13 then the animated movies!,even small children can't stand those shows (exept Kim Possible).
wouldnt shows spinned off movies get monotonous after a while?
I mean Im all for the getting rid of the tweeness, but I would love some new ideas coming out.
I agree... if Disney were to produce only TV series based off their animated features, it would become incredibly old. Most of the existing shows based on their movies aren't all that great to start with, why would we want more?

Whether produced by Disney or not, stuff like Batman:TAS, Pinky & the Brain and Animaniacs far outstrips almost every animated TV series Disney's come out with. The exceptions are some of their older, late-80s/early-90s series like Tailspin, Darkwing Duck and Ducktales. And Gargoyles, obviously. And until Disney can figure out how produce half-decent TV series again, I'm all for their playing stuff made by others.

Disney was developing a series based on Atlantis, but when the movie bombed, the show died before it fully began. Which I was disappointed about, mostly because the series creator of Gargoyles was writing the Atlantis series. Even got some animation and voice work done on one episode that would be a crossover of Atlantis and Gargoyles featuring Demona and Macbeth, but it was never completed. Though every year at the Gargoyles convention, you can see it still being made, by fan artists who are animating the episode themselves. But I think the Atlantis show would have been good because Greg Weisman was on the writing team. He's writing for the new Spiderman series now.

Disney need to come up with good and better ideas for cartoons shows. That why Disney House of Mouse was neat idea. That's was Gargolyes was awesoem idea, so forth.

This is where WB did great with.

I never watched Pinky and the Brain when I was younger(all my friends did though). Despite that, I am really glad that they are playing shows that people really enjoy and can watch for nostalgia. I watched the Halloween one and I liked it, I'm glad to have gotten that opportunity to watch it.

I would prefer Disney to play all of the classic shorts...but oh well, a girl can dream can't she?

What's wrong with DVDs? They have em out you know. Especially for Batman the animated series.

Since Cartoon Network and Boomerang seem to have forgotten that they're meant to show animation, I'm sure it's most welcome on Toon Disney.

Are you talking about the disney ones or the pinky and the brain ones??? Because I have the disney ones, I still think that it would be good to show them on tv for kids now. As for Pinky and the Brain, I don't want to get pinky and the brain on dvd unless I really like it.

It's amazing to me that people are complaining about great animated shows airing on Disney, regardless of whether they are made by WB or not.

Pinky & The Brain is one of the greatest animated comedic TV series of all time, and Batman:TAS is one of the greatest animated TV dramas ever. Superman: TAS is no slacker series either: same high-quality writing, design, animation, and voice acting as BTAS. Furthermore, P&TB was once a prime-time animated series. And Nickelodeon aired it as well.

I mean, come on! So what if they're on Toon Disney? Be thankful that Toon Disney hasn't become the watered-down mess (yet) that is Cartoon Network.

Also, why aren't any of you complaining about Power Rangers being on Toon Disney? (Or is that a tired, old discussion already.) It's a LIVE-ACTION show, for crying out. And it's not from Disney either. Saban may be Disney-owned, but Disney didn't produce it.

I just don't see a legitimate reason to complain here. Would you rather have old repeats of the same Disney toons you've probably already seen multiple times already?

And if you haven't watched these shows previously, give 'em a chance. Trust me, they'll grow on you. If you're an animation fan, it's foolish to close yourself off to a great cartoon just because it was produced by someone other than Disney.

I'm happy to have these shows on the air again, regardless of what network they're on. P&TB especially is a show that should be experienced by everyone.

I never met anyone who's seen it who didn't like it, unless they just don't care much for animated shows. I love it. It's my all-time favorite animated series. The show may be very formulaic, but it's a formula that works. And even the less-memorable shows have their moments because the show has great characters, great writing, voice acting, and animation. I own the complete collection of the P&TB DVDs: they're the centerpiece of my entire DVD collection.

Like I said, my complaint was they adopting other series and ignoring their own good ones. I have no problem with them being on Toon Disney. Toon Disney and Disney Channel air other studios movies all the time (Harry Potter for instance). So it makes not difference to me. I just wish they went back to packing their action shows into a marathon, like they use to do. They use to play Hercules, Aladdin, Power Rangers, and Gargoyles all together. I skipped Power Rangers, but enjoyed the others. Slapping B:TAS, Superman, and Gargoyles together and make another power hour or whatever they called it would be welcomed by me.

I'm reffering to Batman:TAS and Superman TAS.

I didn't want to make a new thread to make this request so I'm putting it in here.

Could someone please tell me which episodes of House of Mouse Stitch appears in?

I'd give Toon Disney Kudos if they put The Wizard of Oz back on.
