Avoid eBay like the plague it is. You have to give them a percentage of what you sell, and sometimes that can hurt. Besides eBay is normally a rip-off for the general public and for the most part all of my dealings with them have been terrible, so it may be that I just have had too many bad experiences with them to look at them from any other point of view.
If you have an Electronics Boutique or GameStop near you, you can always take your movies in and find out what they would give you for them, you don't have to accept their offer. Best thing to do is look around and see how many copies of each title you are offering that they already have, that determines how much you are going to get. If they have two or three copies of, let's say, Superman The Movie (snapper case) then you may only be offered a buck or so. If they have no copies on their shelves they may offer you two dollars.
Don't expect to get much more than two dollars for any of your titles that you have, they are all pretty common.
If your folks are planning on a garage or yard sale in the near future, you can sell them their for a little bit better price, but overall you are going to take a beating on these titles because they are so common.
