At this point, I'm just glad they're releasing these shows in such sets. Though, I'm rather peeved about the way they sometimes don't follow-through with certain titles, like Gargoyles, which was nearly finished, and Lizzie McGuire, which was such a hit show when it came out. I'll be amazed if Wuzzles is ever even released, but if it is, I'll rush out to get it as soon as I can. That was a great show!

So, what did the front page mean when it said that DuckTales requires 2 dozen more installments??? Did they mean episodes yet to be released? It read a bit weird.

There are 24 more Ducktales episodes left ... to make the total episode count equal 100.

To answer UncleEd's question about episode counts:

Wuzzles - 13 episodes were made I believe, would only need 1 set

Pooh - 84

Gummi Bears - 65, only 1 more set needed

Ducktales - 100....I think

Rescue Rangers - 65

Talespin - 65

Darkwing Duck - 91

Goof Troop - 79

Bonkers - 55

Aladdin - 87

Little Mermaid - 31

Hercules - 52

Tarzan - 39

Quack Pack - 39

Mighty Ducks - 27

Gargoyles - 78

All of the episode counts are from Tv.com so I'm not 100% sure if they're correct, but I'm prettys sure they are :D Some shows would only need one or two sets to get them all out, not sure why Disney doesn't just suck it up and do it

Many thanks. Does anyone know where the next set of Duck Tales will cut off? Will anything from the Bubba/Gizmo Duck days be included? IMDB has their episode orders out of wack because they don't match the DVD releases at all.

I've thought about this problem with the few remaining episodes of various series that will be left off. What Disney SHOULD do is either do another 3 disc set with a disc packed full of bonus material or put them out as a 2 disc set like vol. 1 of Gargoyles. But since it's Disney they may let it fall by the wayside.

I don't see why we couldn't get a 2 disc set of Wuzzles but I wouldn't expect it until near the end. I'd like to see Fluppy Dogs too even though the p9ilot is all that they ever made. I've often wondered why this was dropped asa new series. Anyone know?

I don't expect to ever see Pooh and Mermaid is iffy because these make much more money being milked.

Volume 3 will include the introduction of Bubba, but sadly cuts off a few episodes before the introduction of GizmoDuck.

*sigh* Fenton Crackershell/GizmoDuck is my favourite character from the series. Looks like I still have another year before I get to relive him on Ducktales. Thank God for his occasional cameos on Darkwing Duck. Gives me my Gizmo-fix.

Some numbers of episodes are wrong.

Bonkers - 65
Hercules - 65
Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles - 1
Raw Toonage - 13

DuckTales Volume 3 will have Gizmo Duck but it won't have the Super DuckTales five part introduction. DuckTales Volume 3 will have 3 Gizmo Duck episodes and 7 Bubba episodes. Disney was horrible when they produce episodes that why they had to show it in a different ordering number.

I've always loved that Bubba into. I remember being 9 or 10 when it aired in late November as a movie on Fox and was like "Wow! New Duck Tales!!!" I wish they had made a Bubba figure or something.

I remember Gizmo Duck airing that following Easter. I think about the same time they spliced the pilot together and aired that as a movie as well. They never did the other serial though. After watching it on the DVD I can see why. They don't follow together like every other pilot or serial in the Disney Afternoon.

I forget, are Gizmo and Launchpad the obly Duck Tales characters to appear on Darkwing? I think Darkwing tries to establish that Tale Spin and Goof Troop take place in the same world because only Duck Tales ever had dog and pig people. Darkwing has bears and various other animals too. Ever notice that? Also, is it just me or does Launchpad seem shorter on Darkwing than he was in Duck Tales? It would have been cool if Scrooge had stopped by St. Canard once for a visit but I don't remember that ever happening. I like Darwing okay but it lacks the charm Duck Tales had. I'm not sure why.

One episode from Darkwing Duck we saw DuckTales villains characters with no talking parts they were Magica De Spell, Flintheart Glomgold and the Beagle Boys.
Also Fenton Crackshell comes out in Darkwing Duck before he becomes Gizmo Duck. Also at one point Disney wanted the Rescue Rangers to crossover on Darkwing Duck but the idea never happen.

Are you talking about the episode where Fenton stays with Launchpad or are you saying he appeared on Darkwing before he was on Duck Tales? If it was the latter I disagree because Super Duck Tales aired on the Magical World of Disney in either spring of 89 or 90. Darkwing first showed up on the Disney Channel in winter of 91.

Do you know which episode the Duck Tales villains showed up on Darkwing? I've always wondered why the Beagle Boys at least didn't do any crime in St. Canard. After all they are known to have done other things than go after Scrooge.

What's the name of the episode where Darkwing meets Morgana's dad and he makes Darkwing and his friends into Monsters? There were a lot of cool Halloween DA shows. The Duck Tales Monster hotel one was good too. Sadly not on the previous 2 sets but I'm expecting it on the vol. 3. I remember that airing way before many that are on those DVD sets. So as a rule all these sets are in production order except the pilots? Or are they in any order they felt like doing at the time of putting the DVDs together?

Where did you hear about the Rescue Rangers proposed cross over? I'd like to know more. I'm not sure how that would have made sense though since RR takes place in a human world and the other DA shows mentioned are 100% humanoid animals. I wonder what other DA stories like that are out there? Got anymore? I've heard that Bonkers was originally a Roger Rabbit series but after the bad blood with Amblin Bonkers was created. However, Bonkers the character was in the Disney Afternoon theme song sequence (which we may never see on DVD) for at least 2 years before the character debuted on Raw Toonage.) I've always suspected that Gummi Bears came about as a Black Cauldron series since both have a similar look and feel to the world, although DC is much darker in color tone. Ever hear anything on that?

By the way, how many of us sent away for the Kelloggs Disney Afternoon PVC set collection? That was the only cereal premium I ever was excited about. What a great idea. Too bad we don't see things like this done anymore.

The Ducktales villans were in the episode "In Like Blunt" which is on disc three of the volume 2 set.

The epsiode in which Morgana's father turns everyone into monsters is called "Monsters R Us" If Volume 3 of Darkwing Duck contains 27 episodes like the others it will be on the third disc of that set.

No, I'm not saying that Gizmo Duck appeared on Darkwing Duck before DuckTales. I said that Fenton was also showed on Darkwing Duck not only as Gizmo Duck but as Fenton himself.
Webra Walters from DuckTales also came out in Darkwing Duck interviewing Gizmo Duck in St. Canard.

Darkwing Veiwing Order

Post by mybluerabbit »

Sorry if this has already been mentioned somewhere, but does anyone know where I can find a list of Darkwing Duck episodes in chronological order? I mean if I am going to watch them all the way through, I might as well watch them in proper storyline order right :D

So let's review, of the above shows mentioned, it could take as many as 44 releases to get all of those shows out there. To date we have had 12 confirmed or released. At the current release rate it could be 11-15 years just to get those titles all released. Disney needs to step up the pace.
