And yet, back to square one: Cho and the world do not think I exist.
I purposely haven't been following anything regarding the Virginia Tech massacre, so I've not read the thread here at UD, which I think is one factor in this whole "non-existent" thing. Care to enlighten me, Prudence? :?

Anyways, addressing PapiBear's concerns/remarks/comparison of VT to Iraq, all I have to say is that death comes in all shapes, all sizes, and affects people in different ways. We shouldn't trivialize one "wake-up call" over another just because the body count is significantly different (VT versus Iraq versus the rest of the world.)

Cho Seung-Hui thought that by killing the affluent and fortunate college kids, particularly the young women, he was avenging the "his people." Thankfully, the media is not saying too much about the fact that he was on the autistic spectrum. He was, however, and a great deal of what he did boils down to this:
He thought that shedding the blood of wealthy and successful women would avenge autistic people, as well as all who were mistreated. He never once thought that there could be an affluent, hard-working, successful, and autistic teenage college female with connections to the state of Virginia.* The world never stops to think of these things. By trying to avenge "my people," he shed innocent blood and killed my REAL people and my friends. I would stand in front of a stream of bullets for any of my friends. Had I been a student at Virginia Tech, I would have been one of Cho's first targets.

How ironic this life is.

*That would be me. I don't exist, according to the assumptions of the world.

That's hot.
