If the VHS and DVD release patterns were any indication, we'll see some of the smaller and mid-level titles get quick releases first (along with new releases like Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons obviously) before the big guns come out. Doubtful it'll happen this year (so no The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Friendship Edition on Blu-Ray...), but probably in 2008 or 2009. However, it'd be a huge missed opportunity for Disney to NOT release The Jungle Book on Blu-Ray when it hits Platinum DVD in October, especially as a pre-Christmas push.
I agree with several people, though, that the first catalog DAC to get a *big* Blu-Ray release and promotion will be the October 2008 Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Platinum Edition. Disney would more likely rather have a huge Blu-Ray, Princess, and "First Animated Classic Ever!" promotion for Snow White than a "Now Available after # Years in the Vault!" promotion for The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians.
