i'll probably get that one Jasmine. but i might get something else though. one i know i won't be getting for a while will be The Dark Tower since in order to make sence of it you have to read some of the other books first.

sorry Jasmine i got a different book instead :( . i got a triple book that contains King's first three books Carrie, 'Salem's Lot, and The Shining. i'm not sure of Shining since that creeped me out. so far i'm loving Carrie and i'm up to where shes making her prom dress. i loved the movie too but i found it to be more sad than scary since Carrie wasn't the bad guy but the villain and she was just getting pay back. the kids at my school just don't understand that. :(

about 1000 pages. carrie is about 180 pages. 'Salem's Lot goes to the 600's while The Shining takes up the rest. if you want to buy it i'll tell you what the cover is. it's of a man in a black raincoat in front of a building in snow with blood dripping from his hands onto the snow. :o

I only have a very small handful of Stephen King novels. Of them I've only read two and a half, so far I've finished Cujo and Carrie, and now I"m working on Christine (I laugh at the name since thats my mom's first name  ). I think I'm on the last 20 or 30 pages for Christine, and so far it's reallllly good. I have to give his books props for being really in depth as far as characters, he explains about the characters past and background without straying from the initial story. Of the movies I've seen It was decent....I think I've seen it about 4 years ago, Cujo was ok, but Carrie I just couldn't care for, I felt like they could have included a lot more of the book in it, especially at the end. Oh well.

Edit: i want to ask a tiny question that is semi-related, has anyone read Joe Hill's novel? oh and if anyone can figure out how it's related, you get a cookie :D

since noone has tried to guess how Joe Hill is related to the topic i'll tell. Joe Hill is Stephan King's son but doesn't want to get his books read because he's SK's son but for his own talents. if i find his book i'll read it to see if his style is any good.

Well I'll shorthand it for you - the 1979 version looks really old, the 2004 version looks shiny and new.
