I went to Disney World September '06. There were absolutely no lines, we walked on to practically everything, there were only 2 of us adults (Ha! I just called myself an adult) and we still coudln't finish a park in less than a day.

I liked Animal Kingdom, and agree that there is alot to see, but I grew up pretty close to a large zoo, so having been there dozens of times, I didn't feel the need to linger much around the animal exhibits. It still takes a whole day to see the park since there are lots of rides and shows there.

However, since Animal Kingdom closes at 5, you might be able to get a couple of hours in at Epcot and see Illuminations at the end of the day. I didn't think I'd be too interested in Epcot either, but once we got there, we ended up spending the whole day.

As for MGM, there would be a few rides that some of the kids couldn't do, as mentioned earlier, but the Indiana Jones show, Muppet 3D movie and Beauty and the Beast show are worth the visit, as well as Fantasmic.

Did you order the vacation planning DVD? If you did, let the kids watch it, and then once you've done the parks that you feel you absolutely have to do, let the kids decide where they want to go. You might find you plan half a day at a park, but once you get there no one wants to leave! You also might find that if the lines are really long (I"m not sure about crowds this time of year) you might not get everything at the Magic Kingdom done in 2 days and want to go back again.

Phew, this is getting long. I guess what I'm saying is that you don't have to decide ahead of time which parks you want to go to. I think the hopper option is worth the money, but if you don't end up getting it and don't like the park you're in, there's always swimming at the hotel or Downtown Disney to do!

if you go in the summer or when its hot, which it pretty much always is...go to typhoon lagoon if they like water parks......its the best water park ive ever been to and ive been to many, and TL if def the best, nicest, clean, scenic and has a great variety of fun rides, and not to mention the BEST wave pool ever with waves that break like the beach! i think its way better than blizzard beach, cause everything is on one mountain, so you feel like youre climbing stairs all day and is much more crowded with longer lines......
