Of course this is only a disgiuse. In the other Enchanted Thread we had a production sketch of the queen, who looked very much like Susan Sarandon.

Great. I must have missed that one. I'll try and root it out.

I love the animation, dtv-like or not. I just would like to see more than 20 minutes of it in the movie. Maybe the ending is gonna be a huge animated PrinceVSWitch battle!

The witch is only a disguise. If the live action pictures of Susan Sarandon and the concept art that was floating on the web are an indication, the evil Queen will look a lot like Maleficent, The Queen from Snow White and Yzma combined.

The witch disguise is an obvious homage to Snow White. Just like how Amy Adams' character says in the clip when she talks about how she'd like to find a place to rest for the night: "a hollow tree, or a house filled with dwarves". The whole idea of the film is homages to fairy tales and Disney classics.

Some of you have pointed out that the animation has a DTV quality to it. Personally, I think that most of the designs are gorgeous, but I couldn't help noticing that the animation on that "Disney Movie Surfers" clip looked rather choppy, like it was missing vital frames of animation. True, the clip is short, but this worries me nonetheless.

Perhaps your connection was bad and the video wasn't streaming properly.

No I wasn't streaming it. I downloaded the clip as a Quicktime Video and Hi-Res format. It's 50MB and took 1 hour 10 minutes to download on my 128kbps connection.

The video is perfectly smooth.

The princes looks like Jane from Tarzan, wearing Ariel's wedding gown. :D
