I feel like I'm the only one, but Ilene Wood's voice in "Cinderella" is so pure and serene. "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes," "Sing Sweet Nightengale," and "So This is Love" are so beautifully sung. She doesn't overdo any of the songs and there is such sweet sincerity in her voice. Coming in at a close second for me would be Jodi Benson as Ariel. She switches from sweet and quiet to big and moving with such ease and so gradually that I get goosebumps during the reprise of "Part of Your World." It's a shame she only gets one solo and a reprise in the movie. Hopefully there will be some good songs in the upcoming "The Little Mermaid 3" because the sequel didn't provide her with much singing opportunity.

I have to agree with you there on Cinderella, especially the "Sweet Sweet Nightengale" song.goofystitch wrote:I feel like I'm the only one, but Ilene Wood's voice in "Cinderella" is so pure and serene. As for me, Aurora blew me away when she was made the high note while entering the forest. It sounded...so...enchanted. Even Philip thought that was an enchanted maiden singing!
Ariel does have great singing ranges so she gets points there.
the other one I have to note is Pocohantas. She realy did sing well i have to admit.
