Has anyone used the "Buy 3 Get 1 Free" Disney movi
at first i didn't want to cut the proof of purchases off, but then i decided a free dvd was worth it to me. besides, i really don't look at the back covers that often.
what i couldn't get over was the fact there were a total of 8 proof of purchases on TLK, four on the cardboard case that opens like a book, and 4 on the paper cover on the plastic keep case!

I did this deal last year and already had all of the dvds offered. Got the Tron 2 disc set and returned it to Wal-Mart (said I got it for a gift and already had it
). Was able to exchange it for Goofy Disney Treasure. Best free dvd I ever got!
I'll do it again this year. I don't care about hacking up my covers as I don't keep them. I've got over 100 disney dvds all in dvd books with just the insert to tell me what they are. Yes, even all 7 of the Disney Treasures. I recycled the tins. I know that's terrible--they're collectors items, but so what, am I ever going to sell them for a profit? No. Never.
Will probably get Remember the Titans this year for free. Don't have it yet and recently saw it again on WWoD. Worth getting for free--in Widescreen at leasst.
By the way, if anyone wants my Disney Treasures Tins from this year, you're welcome to them. I will be getting them all on December 2nd from the Disney Store for free. God bless Disney Visa and their Disney Dollar rewards

I do. My wife and I recently bought her a new computer and I put new wood flooring in my house. Charged it all on that card. Those two alone gave me over $40 in Disney Dollars. $1000 Grad school tuition--Disney card (repaid by Nat'l Guard, but still get DIsney Dollars). Really, my wife and I use it almost exclusively for our purchases. Sure there is a couple thousand to pay off at the end of the month, but hey, that's why we work huh? I NEVER keep a balance on it and it has no annual fee. They have NEVER made a penny off of me, but I have made over $100 off them. Sweet deal if you work it right.Lady wrote:crap! you must charge a lot to have actually earned enough disney dollars to buy the treasures collection.thomashton wrote:I did this deal last year and already had all of the dvds offered. BTW, last year, yes, Wal-Mart in Albuquerque did have all of the DT releases. Goofy went fast. Mickey, semi fast and Behind the Scenes hung around maybe two or three months. The year before that, I dont know, got all of them at the Disney Store.

At least with the platinums you only have to cut the paper on the dvd case itself. Once the cardboard sleeve is on, you can't even see the missing paper. Also, they make the pop's small, which make it a little less damaging.Tangela wrote:Yeah, I think they should have a copy or some paper proving that you bought the DVD inside or something. If they're ever worth anything after they go in moratorium, I would think they'd lose a lot of worth if you didn't have the nice outside coverings to go with them. It would be like throwing away the tins to the treasure discs, though not as detrimental.
who cares about worth. not like we would ever be able to part with them anyways.rnrlesnar wrote:You throw them away!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! What's wrong with you?Kayleigh02 wrote: You keep the cardboard covers? I throw those away!!!

I think the Tigger Movie is great and surprisingly my wife does too. She is usually not into Disney movies but really enjoys this one.jasmine-rules wrote:I would have purchased three when finding nemo comes out. I'm thinking of getting the tigger movie, I haven't even seen it yet. Is it any good?
