I think a return to the hand drawn animation would be key to fixing the lack of memorable stories and long lasting impressions back to Disney. If you look at Disneys most popular draws, especially in the theme parks, it's the older stuff. The popular Princess series for example. But besides that, we need to see the films that took risk: The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Pocahontas and Hunchback. All of these were mature and daring and involved pushing the envelope( for their time) and everything since 96 has been so safe and cutesy and really a waste of time. No messages, no statements, nothing of value is being taught in them. There have been some exceptions, Nemo, I think was very well done, But that kind of work needs to be put in everything they do. The films have gotten to this point where they're like this mass produced factory item that they just push out every day, without taking the time to make them of each special and important. I mean how do you go from the social commentaries and the sweeping scores and the engaging storyline, both fun and heartbreaking to something like "The Wild"? They aren't even trying anymore. If they were we would be more excited about the films being produced than the classics coming out on DVD, because the old ones are the only ones where we can still find that kind of quality work.

The perfect Disney film would be one that's original & not a sequel...

Seriously, STORY IS KEY. Even if you have Grade-A actors, mind-blowing animation, well designed characters, beautiful backrounds, well-keyed music & all the George Lucas special effects you could afford, if the story is lousy, the film is lousy...PERIOD.

Not to be rude to some, but this thread wasn't about naming movies that are perfect, but trying to think of ideas that would make future movies perfect.

By that said, Chicken Little technically a perfect movie. :P
