Beauty and the Beast!!!!!!!!!!! That cover is beautiful....actually I love em all!
You should do this round over in a year or two when Aladdin, Cinderella, and Mermaid come out! On second thought, I hope we will still be on this forum in a year or two!

Me too I also hope those are the 3 that come out in the next 2 years! I've decided that I would like to see Bambi again, but I can wait for that release. I hope 101D is the last ot come out, cause that is the one I absolutley can't stand!

I love the Platinum Edition covers. They whole idea of the main character being centralized by the supporting characters through smaller proportions is very dramatic. I like The Lion King the best, though. Beauty and the Beast would follow, the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

I really like the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs cover. I don't care for the dwarfs or the queen in the corner, but I love Snow White with her apple. I think that image simplifies the story and much of the fluff that has surrounded the story for years and echoes the darkness and sensuality that the original tale was about. The symbolism of the apple and Snow White's desire makes this movie seem like something that those seven little dwarfs have nothing to do with. I think that cover was the best attempt Disney has made to re-invented the image of one of their movies and it made me excited to own the DVD in 2000.
