Just a reminder that it's vastly appreciated when readers of this site use UD's Amazon link to buy Disney DVDs. Here's our link to Lady and the Tramp:
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

I understand that other places are selling it for a few dollars cheaper (plus no tax in most parts of the world), but I'd like to think that all the stuff we offer here count for more than a few dollars. Without major support from Amazon, there's simply no way the site could exist in its current form. Anyway, most of you already know that and I don't mean to be a broken record, but there it is for people who might not.

Anyone know if Best Buy and/or Toys R Us will be selling the plush(es) separately? I'm pretty sure they did this with Thumper.

A question: if I go to amazon through a UD link and surf the site and let’s say that I buy some other movie instead the one that take me to amazon in the UD, still helpful?
For your reference and records my native language is Spanish.

Yep, it's still helpful. Direct links are the most beneficial, so if it's a Disney movie, then your best bet is to find it directly through our shop or if you're feeling ambitious to try to make your own link by these instructions. But even an indirect purchase made in the same session does benefit this site. Thanks.

BestBuy.com has the Tramp plush available for $10 on its own. I'd assume that's the same in-store, but sometimes they don't always follow the lead of their online operations.

Aaron.............you are totally off base on the price match at Best Buy for LATT. They will match price with any store regardless if there is another offer. No other store besides ToyRUs is offering plushies that I know of. Reward Zone members always collect their points whether they price match or not.

dvdjunkie it really depends on your Best Buy. Some stores will still say no to a price match if you get the free item, because they don't count it as being the same item as the other store.

I'm sure there are different Best Buys, but I know for a fact that mine is pretty picky on price matching items. I usually tend to avoid our store because of its employees, and stuff like this. Its just not a nice place to go shop. It hasn't always been like that though. It really started going downhill about 2 years ago.

I think FYE has a Lady plush if you preorder. Anyway I'm going to preorder it tomorrow from TRU to get the Lady/Tramp plush.

How does pre-ordering a DVD from a local Toys R Us store work? I assume that the process is similiar to the procedure that the Disney Store has? I assume that I need to talk to a cashier or sales person to pre-order the DVD and recieve the plush toys.

Or is the offer only available online?
The plushies are available in store only. You grab a reserve card and bring it to a cashier (or just go up to them and ask for a card), and just hand them $5 for deposit (it goes towards the $20 for the dvd.) Keep your receipt and your reserve card, you need it to give to them on the day you purchase your dvd.

Reserves must be made by Monday, February 27th.

MickeyMousePal wrote:magicalwands did you ever make a pre-order or reserve your copy at Toys R Us because I haven't. I'm just wondering if I do make a reserve will Toys R Us hold it for me for that day. I have school earlier and can't make a fast trip to get them. That's why I prefer Toy's R Us over Best Buy. Hopefelly Toys R Us does price match.
Yes, I did reserve my copy. :) You can pick it up on or after Tuesday. Beware that it does say "While supplies last" so as long as you get it on Tuesday you'll be fine. My cousin preordered and got his Cinderella clock from Toys R Us AND he came around 8 at night.

About the sizes, I'm not exactly sure about the plushie sizes. I think the Best Buy plushie only looks big because it's next to a digitalized dvd cover. If you are going to play with the plushies or show them off on your shelf next to your dvd, I'd go for the Toys R Us offer. For me, I'm just going for Toys R Us because I'm giving them to my little sister. (And because I reserved it before I knew Best Buy was offering a plushie too.)

Hmmm ... Best Buy will have the Tramp plushie ... and my nearest fYe is offering the Lady plushie ... while Disney is offering the cool moving picture. Then Toys'R Us is offering both plushies.

What to do? What to do ... ?
Thanks to all that offered to help with my Avatar...Starion, RJKD23 and cj!

Doesn't your father have Reward Zone at Best Buy?
I would have gone to BB if they had both Lady and Tramp.

I say go to Toys R Us because if you make reserves before Monday Feb. 27 Toys R Us will hold both the DVD and both the plush toys. You don't have to be waiting in line. LOL

I have seen the "plushies" at Toys R Us, and I will take the Tramp plushie at Best Best, it is a better product, and it is cuter and really looks like Tramp and not Scamp.

The price at Best Buy so far is the best I have seen. Wal-Mart may beat it by a few cents, not worth the trouble of Price-matching for just a few pennies.

Have you seen both the Best Buy and the TRU plushes in person?

Wow, you remember? :o I think buying one dvd from a store other than Best Buy won't make too much of a difference.

I like the plushies from Toys R Us more, the fluff is more realistic while the Best Buy's Tramp looks fake. If Tramp lives on the street his fur shouldn't be groomed like Best Buy's! ;) (And I bet their Tramp plushie can't even STAND on its own.)

If Best Buy had a Lady plush, I'd rather have that. I may go to Circuit City instead of Best Buy (my dad and I got Bambi @ Best Buy last year to get the free thumper plush.)

Toys R Us started carrying dvds a few years ago. When I was @ a ToysRus last month the cashier asked me if I'd like to reserve Bambi II or Lady and the Tramp. I declined cause it wasn't my local ToysRUs and anyway, I wasn't sure at the time that I'd get Bambi II. Plus, I wanted to see if i could get it cheaper (i did - at Target).

If BB offers double reward points, I'll buy it there, otherwise, I'll get it at CC.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Walmart is offering a nice package that includes a 12 song CD, a sing-along lyric book and some stickers.
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... id=4645564

AwallaceUNC, I saw some plush toys of Lady and Tramp on Toysrus.com / amazon.com

They look like the toys that magicalwands posted. Both plush toys are six inches (15.24 cm) long. This is the typical size of the small plush toys from the Disney Store.

If anyone wants to order the toys from Amazon.com to help support this side, look for these ASINs:

Disney Animal Friends 6"
Lady Plush: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

Tramp Plushs http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/ ... eimprovemz

The plush toys above came out on January 30.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

magicalwands, thanks for sharing the information. I haven't preordered a DVD from Toys R US or Best Buy before.

I only have six days to preorder the DVD.

I have two more questions formagicalwands:
If I decide to order the DVD from Toys R Us, when do I get the plush toys? When I pre-order the DVD or when I pick them up?

I gotta go finish my homework. Later

Edit: I added the links to the plush toys

Thanks for that, Starion. Those plushes look different to me, though. Hmmm.

You will get your plushies on Tuesday when you purchase your dvd.

What size were the Lady and Tramp plushies at Toys R Us? And how was the quality? I'm thinking the Tramp from Best Buy will be similar to the others that they have offered. Also if your Best Buy is good about price matching with freebies, Circuit City will have it for $14.99 next week.

Best Buy's price is $16.99.
(I know this is off topic, but wouldn't it be possible to price match Circuit City's $14.99 after purchasing it from Best Buy...it usually works for me, with the 10% off after.)
