Not Mrs. Quail.

Not Skittles!

But Dickless... I mean Dick Cheney is probably a poor shoot. Hell, he shot his friend.

That's exactly what I'm trying to say to these people who are still going on about how much they disagree with me. I was making a joke about the whole situation, and people cannot hide their hate, they got to just keep bringing it around. Thomaston and dvdjunkie are sad because they just can't pass an opportunity to try to 'get' me. That is sad, in case you were wondering. So, deal with it... Don't you concern yourselves with what I think - that was for another time, another DIFFERENT post. Remember something people, this is what you get when you challenge me ALL THE TIME instead of trying to understand me. I'm not going to just say it's because you're disrespectful of my being gay - but this is getting to be a bit suspicious, why you feel it necessary to 'bring me down'. Get off my back!

Generally, I feel hunting is a bad thing. But I don't pretend as though I understand the whole thing about the animal population control. So I try and accept it.

I'm not necessarily having a go at you. I'm talking about everyone bickering with each other actually. The end.

Lazario..........Have you read the book "Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder" by Michael Savage?........Open your mind up and read this and see if you don't look at things a lot differently.

You are the sick one. And now you're making me really angry. Which I don't think is a smart thing to do, nor is it fair. You have no right to question my mental state of mind, among other things - so I'll ask that a moderator step in really soon if you don't step out.

Again, I'll say very politely that all you care about is feeling comfortable which is why you stick with Republicans. Now, everyone else has expressed concern that I'm lumping them into a group with you. No, this is directed to just you. The Vietnam war is over. So your hippie-bashing b.s. won't work here.

I'm far from a hippie, as most people here can already tell. And you won't peg me easily into any group. While I was really challenging people, exposing their points of view as empty-headed - you make the most absurd claims on the face of this planet. And you still haven't answered this - why should I join the military - RISK MY LIFE FOR A NATION THAT WON'T LET ME WED A MAN? Answer that, you COWARD!!!

While some Democrats surely want Americans to be SAFER by doing drastic things, the Republicans expect everyone to conform to a religious way of life just because they think being gay is icky. So, I'm warning you RIGHT now - GET OFF MY BACK!

I believe that qualifies as an INSULT. And remember, MODS, I never asked for memnv's opinion on this or ANY subject - he volunteered like he always does - it was innopropriate, hateful, wrong, and I don't want to be an aWallaceUnc on anyone - but that's allegedly against the rules.

Why doesn't anyone ever see, I've said it 100 times, members like this stick their noses in to ADD trouble if anyone thinks I caused it. Not because I started anything, because people CLAIM I caused something. And he, as well as dvdjunkie should be held accountable for this WHOLE thing starting - again, I just made a joke about the hunting party.

THE PROOF is on the first page of this topic - I did not start this, I replied to dvdjunkie who didn't even have the right to start this. But it's started now and I suggest someone finish it - APPROPRIATELY.

You know what Lazario, I have just as much right as anyone else here to make comments about posts and you are attacking the Vice President of this great country that we live in. So yes it is my right to make comments. remember this is the USA where one of our rights is called Freedom of Speach. There are certin things that you cant say like "Hi JAck" on a plane or "fire" in a crowded movie theater. But I read your posts and I see that you are so anti-Everything unless it favors you. Maybe one day you will learn from your mistakes and stop arguing with everyone about everything. I think you enjoy it. I dont ever see you make posts in here anymore that are disney related

The Vice President of this great country we live in is a bigot, and so is President Bush, and you don't know anything about him, obviously. What's more, you don't prove patriotism by BLINDLY agreeing with what he stands for.

You're saying I don't have freedom of speech but you do. That's also unpatriotic. And I have not said I'm anti-everything, but you can't pay attention long enough to see that or anything else. You don't get to make up an opinion based on what you see or don't see - if you have the gall to try, you ask the person the things you don't know. Assuming is ignorant. And so are you.

I don't think we need you to tell us you don't know what bigot means.

And by the way, I've said time and time again that I'm pro the following:

Gay rights
Animal rights (to an extent)
Environmentalist (to an extent)
Children's rights (to an extent)
Abortion (hello- it's in the signature)
The integrity of the image of women
Black, Latino, & Asian rights

among a host of other things.

Yes I know what Bigot means, And just for your information I really am not a bigot. I have many friends that are Black, Asian, Latino, and Gay. I have an Aunt that is gay and I get along with her great, I also think the world of her girlfriend. I am jewish. I also believe in Animal, women, and children's Rights. I believe in Abortion ( depending on the circumstances). That is because when I was growing up my step mom worked with a lady who whould go out have sex get pregnant then get an abortion. While I was growing up she had over 10 abortions. I think her use for abortion is wrong. But I feel if a woman is raped and gets pregnant she can get an abortion or if the family cant afford a child. I do feel that they should look into adoption first though. I have a sister that was adopted.

I also wonder what you men by being pro to an extent. You are either pro or against.

I'm involved in a long exchange about Cheney's accident on another board...

Let me repeat that: on another board.

I know it says "Off-Topic," but for all of our sakes: can't you take the politicized gnashing & stamping & wailing elsewhere? Huh? Speaking as a not-Republican--you're giving the rest of us a bad name, Laz.

Somebody lock this puppy down.

Actually, it's other members here who are giving me a bad name. Everything I have said has been in the interest of defending important American values. And that was the point, yeah for another post at another time. So that's that.

I think both liberals and conservatives should be able to come together on this issue and poke fun and somebody else's misfortune.

Let's hope somebody reconsiders the need to carry heavy weaponry when hunting those heavily armed quail...

Anyways, Just to bring this SLIGHTLY back on topic:

Cheney hunting accident triggers humor volley

CBS' LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN

* "We can't get bin Laden, but we nailed a 78-year-old attorney."

* "Good news, ladies and gentlemen, we have finally located weapons of mass destruction: It's Dick Cheney."

* No. 4 on list of "Top Ten Dick Cheney Excuses" -- "I thought the guy was trying to go 'gay cowboy' on me."

NBC's THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO

* "I think Cheney is starting to lose it. After he shot the guy he screamed, 'Anyone else want to call domestic wiretapping illegal?"'

* "Dick Cheney is capitalizing on this for Valentine's Day. It's the new Dick Cheney cologne. It's called Duck!"

COMEDY CENTRAL'S THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART
* "Moms, dads, if you're watching right now, I can't emphasize this enough: Do not let your kids go on hunting trips with the vice president. I don't care what kind of lucrative contracts they're trying to land, or energy regulations they're trying to get lifted -- it's just not worth it."

THE DAILY SHOW (ROB CORDDRY)

"The Vice President is standing by his decision to shoot Harry Whittington. Now, according to the best intelligence available, there were quail hidden in the brush. Everyone believed at the time there were quail in the brush. And while the quail turned out to be a 78-year-old man, even knowing that today, Mr. Cheney insists he still would have shot Mr. Whittington in the face."

U.S. SEN. PATRICK LEAHY (REPORTED BY ROLL CALL NEWSPAPER)

* Cheney in 2004 dismissed Leahy with an highly publicized obscenity during a brief argument in the Senate.

"In retrospect, it looks like I got off easy," Leahy said.

WHITE HOUSE SPOKESMAN SCOTT MCCLELLAN

* McClellan, wearing an orange necktie, previewed a White House appearance of University of Texas Longhorn Football team, which wears orange jerseys: "The orange that they're wearing is not because they're concerned that the vice president may be there -- although that's why I'm wearing it."

FLORIDA GOV. JEB BUSH

* While wearing a bright orange political sticker: "I'm a little concerned that Dick Cheney is going to walk in."

NEW YORK POST (IMITATING CARTOON ICON ELMER FUDD)

"The White House took heavy flak yesterday for waiting a vewwy, vewwy long time before revealing that wascally Vice President Dick Cheney had shot a fellow hunter."

On a MORE serious note:
