I guess people forgot dvdjunkie's reminder that this is a "Post here when you RECEIVE!" thread, not "Post here when you send"
Anyways, I already did my humorous "OMG, guess what was in the mail!" post, so see page one for it.
And OH MY GOSH! I got a package last Thursday and I was sure it was a DVD, but when I looked at the address...the damn FedEx guy put our neighbour's package on our porch! So I had to go nextdoor and give it to them...

I received my gift from Zoltack this afternoon. I read the card first and was surprised when he had mentioned DVDs, implying he had gotten me more than one. When I looked inside the box, I found he had gotten me a whopping three DVDs (and all multi-disc sets, to boot!): Bewitched: Season One, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, and Gladiator: Extended Edition. Thanks a ton for these, Zoltack, and merry early Christmas!
Disneykid sure got a generous Secret Santa! Pals getting TV cartoons on DVD =
All the other exchanges posted thus far have been interesting and neat-o too.
Just a friendly reminder that today is the day we're aiming for as the deadline to ship out presents for your recipient. Those in the same continent as their recipient can probably get by mailing something out next week, but if you haven't even given Secret Santa any thought, now is the time you should definitely be doing that!

Wow Zoltack, that's so nice of you.
I hope everyone is enjoying their secret santa exchanges, I think I'm going to enter next year.
(if it does indeed take place)

Oh My GOSH! So yesterday I spent all day in bed or on the couch (wait... I actually spent most of it in the bathroom
) because I was sick with some kind of stomach bug. I feel a little better now- not eating anything, but not throwing up either so that's a start...
BF was studying late for a med school exam so he didn't check the mail until late and I didn't see the mail until just now... and there was an envelope from MickeyMousePal!!! He sent me another gift!!! MMP- you seriously just made my day SO much better!
He sent me the Rescuers DVD... so now I have gotten both the Rescuers AND the Rescuers Down Under from him!
Thanks MMP!!!
Now I have something to do while laying on the couch today

Soooo...a package came for me today from Amazon...
it was that Eagles DVD I REALLY REALLY wanted.
However, there was no note or anything of that nature, so I'm assuming there's a Christmas card out there somewhere for me still.
So thanks to my Secret Santa (whose name I will come back and post after I get the card on Monday hopefully).
