Okay, I'm posting here like a year after this CDs release, but I have a question regarding a clip on YouTube.com, of her fantastic new song (more or less), "And Then We Kiss". Here's a link to the clip- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4O5aU6SBxKw. My question is regarding what clips are used in the montage of the song. I know most of the clips- Stronger, Someday (I Will Understand), Everytime, Toxic- both from the Megamix clip-, I'm A Slave 4 U, and My Prerogative. I don't know which clip is used in the bridge, the part after Toxic, and before Slave. I have never seen that clip before. It's where she is dancing in the rain in green with some dancers. It is an international clip of something, or something like that? I've just never seen that clip, and I want to know what it is. Aside from that, it's a fantastic song and montage.
On the topic of Britney, apparently she was falling out of a nightclub the other night, with Paris Hilton next to her. And even though the GH-MP Cd, and DVD was released like two years ago, I want it for Christmas, along with her Chaotic DVD, with the bonus CD, her Britney-B in the Mix CD, her In The Zone DVD, and the Do Somethin' UK CD, since it has the Megamix clip, with is surprisingly not on the GH-MP DVD. Other things that should be on that GH-MP DVD should be her performances at the VMA Awards, etc. In other words "the snake performance of Slave 4 U", and "the Britney, Madonna and Christina lesbian kiss". I hope that they end up on a future DVD release, but if it doesn't, I'm not too worried about it, since my sister has the lesbian kiss on one of her video tapes, and I can watch it anytime I want. Lucky me. Also, I wouldn't mind getting the GH-MP Cd with the bonus CD, and the Britney-B in the Mix UK CD, because of the extra track and the cover art (Thanks Alice for the info! :) Haven't seen you around lately, whats going on? :) ) So that's seven Britney related things that I want for Christmas. I doubt I'll get any. I wouldn't mind Crossroads either. That makes eight.
Oh and BTW my fave song is now definitely And Then We Kiss! I love it. I hope that she finishes her new album soon. Ne*Yo is apparently writing some new stuff for her. I wonder how she'll reinvent herself this time? I'm going to research that UK B in the Mix CD now.
Oh and I'm glad that she broke up with K-Fed or Fed-Ex. She was always too good for him. And I'm so lucky, we finally get her appearance on Will and Grace soon. Here in Australia we are so behind. We are up to Cowboys and Iranians now, so we'll get there soon.
Oh, , and I wouldn't mind the Sugababes Greatest Hits CD and DVD, or the Kylie Minogue- Greatest Hits-Showgirl Homecoming CD and DVD set, or the Dannii Minogue The Hits and Beyond CD and DVD combo. Not the upcoming Dannii Minogue-Platinum Collection that features extra songs and mixes of her stuff from "Girl" and "Neon Nights". Phew, that was tiring.

Actually, in 2002, she starred in the (horrendous) feature film Crossroads, which was nominated for worst picture of the year (seriously).

It's from her "Overprotected (Darkchild Remix)" video which was only released in America.

Whoever resurrected this thread, exciting the former Britney fan lodged in my soul, deserves to die.

After seeing her on Letterman a few weeks ago, I thought that she seriously might be able to make a comeback. She looked great and seemed happy! But now that she's been hanging out with Paris and "accidentally" flaunting her...um...pelvic region...I just don't think a respectable future is in the cards for Britney.

Oh, okay. Thanks. Yeah, I thought that there were a few US only clips that I hadn't seen. I was downloading the Boys clip and it wasn't the clip that I've seen. I had seen the Austin Powers one, not the ethnic one. Much appreciated. :)

Sorry! Didn't mean to excite your former fan inside you. Though I don't know why you're not a fan of her anymore. She's still pretty good. Have you heard "And Then We Kiss"? It's one of her best tracks, in my opinion.
And yeah, Prince Ali, I heard about her recent public appearance. She fell out of a nightclub, and she forgot to put her knickers on, it would seem, as paparazzi films her exiting a limousine. Apparently she made Paris look dignified. And Britney was wearing an outfit that a little kid would have trouble fitting into. Doesn't leave much to the imagination.

Oh, and great avatar and siggy Prince Ali! I forgot to mention it in my previous post. I love Daria! I wish that they'd sort out the music rights, so that it could come to DVD already. Oh, and coincendentally, it's Britney's 25th brithday today! Here comes long and extensive history of her and her life.
She was born on this date, the 2nd of December in 1981. She was born in rural Louisana and became somewhat famous during the Mickey Mouse Club, along with future boyfriend Justin Timberlake (who she apparently lost her virginity to), and rival Christina Aguilera who became a worldwide success around the same time Britney did, and was overshadowed by Brit's controversial success. Coincidentally, Justin and Christina both toured together in 2003 on the Justified Stripped Tour. Also Justin Randall Timerlake has my exact same initials. Other stars in that show included Keri Russell, of Felicity, and JC Chazez, who would go on to star alongside Justin Timberlake in N*Sync, whose greatest hits album and DVD has been released, and whose fellow bandmate "Lance Bass has been outed in the past year, as homosexual.
More on topic, Britney struck it big with "Baby One More Time", in 1999, at the tender age of 17, selling more than 13 million copies of it, her debut album. From that album she released the singles "Baby One More Time", "Sometimes", "Drive Me Crazy", "Born To Make You Happy", and "From The Bottom of My Broken Heart". In 2000, she followed it up with her sophomore release "Oops! I Did It Again", with the title track, "Lucky", "Stronger", and "Don't Let Me The Last To Know" being released from it. After guest starring in Sabrina the Teenage Witch briefly, and always wishing to act, she made her first big movie "Crossroads", and it was released in 2002, to unfavourable reviews. It starred Taryn Manning (from Hustle and Flow), that guy from the show Ed, that black chick from Centre Stage, and Kim Cattrall and Dan Akroyd as Britney's, or Lucy her character's parents. The year before that she returned to the music scene released her raunchy new song "I'm A Slave 4 U", complete with a hot new image and video clip. That song came from her 2001 album "Britney", which also featured her hits "Overprotected", "I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman", "I Love Rock n Roll", and the song that featured in Austin Powers-Goldmember "Boys", which also featured Pharell Williams. Britney also briefly appeared in Austin Powers 3, cameo in a dance-off between her and Austin, complete with their back-up dancers. Following this, stints on the VMA awards, in raunchy performances featuring large green snakes, and lesbian flings with pop royalty were world news, with Britney kissing Madonna, on a televised appearance at the MTV VMA in 2003. Her rival Christina Aguilera, then known as Xtina, who had in the past year reinvented herself as Dirrty, Beautiful and a Fighter also appeared, though it wasn't as controversial,as she was usually in the news for some reason or another. Coincidentally Pink had frst been picked but quit due to moral reasons, and was replaced with a black-haired Xtina. A 60 Minutes interview with Dianne Sawyer appeared after that, with a poignant moment with Britney, crying over Justin, and how hard it had been. Coincedentally, Justin had a woman in his clip "Cry Me A River" that looked like Britney, most probably a reference to her. To this day they are apparently good friends, and he still cares about her the tabloids teat her. In late 2003 she released her track with Madonna, aptly titled "Me Against The Music", with a video to match her VMA performance. That song came from her fourth album "In The Zone", that included the hit single "Toxic", which has become one of her most wel-known songs. Following that she released "Everytime", with a provocative clip, married to an old friend for 56 hours, rightly seeking an anulment after it. She then released "Outrageous", originally in the film Catwoman, producing two clips for it. She then met her future husband of two years, back-up dancer Kevin Federline, who left his wife and two kids, for Britney. They then had two children together, one in 2004, and one in 2005. Since 2004, even though no new material of such has been released, much has occurred. She married Kevin in a lavish wedding, has appeared in many tabloid magazines after being caught out driving unsafely with her child Sean Preston, and in other unfavourable situations. Her hubby Kevin, became a rapper, changed his music name to "K-Fed", and became a laughing stock of the indutrsy, reportedly having his label give out tickets to his concerts after no one bought them. Professionally, Britney took a break in late 2004, though has released two albums of hits. The first one in 2004, is titled "Greatest Hits- My Prerogative", and was released to CD and DVD, with the title song, a cover of the Bobby Brown hit, released, closely followed by Do Somethin'. This DVD comes after DVDs have been released of her concerts, and specials. It is a natural move for a performer to have made so many hits as her, to release a Greatest Hits. A video game, mainly involving dance moves, was released around 2001/2002. A bonus CD was also found on some versions of the CD. A remix of her greatest hits was made by Chris Cox, and a clip was made to promote the song, and her new album/DVD. The remix track, conviently titled "Megamix"clip was unfortunately not on the GH-MP set, much to fans dismay, as every single clip was found there, even secret editions never seen, and alternate/extended versions of all of her songs, whether they were hits or not. Fortunately, I have dug around and discovere that it is indeed available on the UK CD single for Do Somethin', along with the Do Somethin' clip and track. Before this release, she and her husband agreed to a reality TV show titled Chaotic. It wasn't to be a Newlyweds style show, with cameras following them though. They had recorded much material themselves, with their own cam-corders, and gave it up for the series, which can be found on DVD, complete with the five episodes, along with the bonus CD, featuring some new previously unreleased songs, called "Chaotic"-the theme for the show, "Mona Lisa", and "Someday (I Will Understand)". The latter track was released in Europe, though had a controversial film clip filmed, featuring her pregnant. The clip can be found, along with a making of feturette, and the Do Somethin' clip on the "Britney and Kevin- Chaotic" DVD. She also tried her hand at fragrances, which have proved successful and popular, with her first release "Fantasy", selling many units. Her second release "In Control- Curious", was also successful. They have been released for Christmas in new giftsets, bundled with body lotions, and body mist. The advertisements for them were elaborate and featured her and her hubby in a forest shooting each other with rubber lovebows. The song And Then We Kiss was apparently used in them. In late 2005, she released the song "And Then We Kiss"- my favourite!- to radio, but unfortunately not to the public on a single release. A video clip wasn't made either, but montage clips and videos can be found all over the web,and there is a convenient link a few posts above this to a really outstanding one on YouTube.com, that I absolutely love. This song, came from the remix album "Britney-B in the Mix", that was a second reshuffle of her material. The edition in the UK features two extra songs, totalling 13 tracks, and features the essentially the same cover, plus her in a pose, in silver. I actually think that the US one is nicer, but I'd like to have the UK one for the extra songs, "Stronger", and "Don't Let Me Be The Last To Know". More recently she had a second child, another boy, though his name escapes me at the moment since there was a fake one around for a while before the official announcement. From memory he has the same initials as his one year older brother. She also appeared on the hit sitcom Will and Grace, possibly a nod to her legions of gay fans (not that it's a bad thing). She appeared as a Catholic conservative show host, with Jack(Seasn Hayes), also a nod to her early days in her career as a provocative school girl, in her first clip. Recently she appeared on the Tonight Show, looking smoking hot, after giving birth to her second son, and soon after she dumped K-Fed, or Fed Ex as he is now known, by text. Personally, she is better off for it. On her other member of her family, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears has been making a name for herself, appearing in Nickolodien shows, and occasionally singing. Britney also has an older brother, Bryan. She and her mother also wrote a book in the year 2000, titled "Heart to Heart". She has also appeared on magazine covers in provocative and raunchy positions/poses. Britney is now prepping a new album, and has songwriters writing for her, such as hit-maker Ne*Yo. She is poised to unveil a new image, and is poised top become the world's hottest performer again.
How was that? I had some help though. I couldn't remember all of her songs, so I looked up her GH-MP set on Amazon.com, and found out some info. But that is the only thing that I referred to, I swear!

Oh, it's just that I haven't heard anything from her in so long. I used to be absolutely obsessed with Brit, but I suppose it dwindled down with age.
