As a child this was one of my favorite rides at WDW. When I went back in 2004 I didn't know that it had closed and was extremely disappointed when I found out. I'll just have to ride the Finding Nemo version when it opens.

You'll have to go California to do it. There lagoon at WDW has been completely filled in, mostly landscaped, and is currently home to the temporary Pooh's Playful Spot. The Nemo attraction is definitely coming to Disneyland but there aren't any plans for a submarine attraction of any kind to return to WDW.
