*bump*

In case and of you out there care, Walgreen's now sell Disney figurines. They only have 3 princesses now: Ariel, Aurora, and Cinderella (I'm expecting them to come out with a second line soon of Belle, Jasmine, and Snow White). The figurines are polyresin and come in 3 different sizes: 3" ($5), 5" ($7), and 7" ($10).

Here's some (pretty bad) pictures of them:

Ariel 7"

Cinderella 5"

Aurora 5"

You can't exactly tell here, but they look really nice!

They had vinyl banks, too. Belle, Cinderella, and Ariel for $10 each. Belle was the only decent-looking one, so I got her. She comes with Mrs. Potts and Chip.

Also, here's a figurine of Lady:

Isn't it cute? :)

I got some money for Christmas, so I'm planning on buying a Walt Disney Classic Figurine! I'm not sure which one, though.

My top picks are:

Peter Pan $99
Image

Jasmine $125
Image

Faline $175
Image

Bambi and his mother $165
Image

Wendy Darling $125

The thing is that the first two came out recently, so I still have a lot of time to buy them next year, but Faline and Wendy are retired, and they're not as easy to find..so...argh.

Please share your opinions on which one I should purchase..

i would go for the WENDY!!!

& i often see her on ebay for 85-95, so maybe you could save a bit that way!

i wish someone would produce a vinyl figure of her, shes one of my favorite disney characters!

btw, i love your avatar!

They all look good, but I like the Faline one from the retired list, but then again, i'm not the biggest Peter Pan fan, the Bambi one looks really sweet :D

Ebay's not really an option. I'd rather go to a Chicago-area collectibles shop that's a WDCC authorized dealer.

I love Wendy, she's definitely one of my favorite characters...The Peter Pan figurine is alright, the main reason I want it is because it's the most affordable one!

I think out of those, Faline would be my favorite. Faline was never really an outstanding character for me, and Bambi isn't in my top 5 Disney movies, but I think it looks so pretty..It's expensive, but I could save up for it and own it by February or March..maybe even before then!

I've looked and looked for those Medicom and Tomy vinyl dolls online at stores that accept US currency, and I found a few sites. The best is probably Toy Tokyo, which has beautiful Medicom dolls, and they're usually between $30 and $50 each. I want to buy Belle, Peter Pan, and Mr. Incredible from there.

My best bet would be to get the vinyl dolls (they look better, anyway!). I still want the porcelain classic figurines, but they are so expensive! And even if I put them in a case, there's a good chance that they might break..I am a child, after all.

I collect these mini snowglobes that are available at the Disney Store.
Dragon, not lizard. I don't do that tongue thing.
