A summer movie is essentially any blockbuster film released between May 'till the middle of August. At least that's my take on it!

A summer movie could be any movie with a wide release, that is released from May through the end of August.

Yeah, all the wide releaes from May-August. I'll throw a couple from April in too that held on through part of the summer.

Well I'm a bit disappointed. While yes Spider-Man 2 is a great movie, it's not as good as Batman Begins IMO. Plus Spider-Man 2 already won the 2004 survivor, I would've prefered a different winner. I'm still glad Batman got 2nd! :D

Not sure if I'd come right out and say it's the best-ever superhero movie, but as things played out, it makes for a great winner. Congrats, Spidey!

I'm with Timon/Pumba fan Batman Begins should have won it was a better movie then Spider-Man 2. Spider-Man 2 was adult friendly and Batman was more dark and scary for kids. :)
But remember Batman is the Dark Knight. :D

X2: X-men United should have won. I can't believe it went out that early. But oh, well. Spider-man 2 is a pretty deserving winner.

My sisters got bored by Batman Begins. I think the opposite of your opinion, Spider-Man 2 was more for kids and Batman Begins is for adults.

Nope, I said that Spider-Man 2 was more clean and friendly for kids and Batman Begins was more dark and scary for young kids but adults enjoyed the film.

Spiderman 2 was a good movie but I agree it is not the best superhero movie ever, Batman Begins and X-Men 2 were both better, I also though the first Spiderman and Superman the Movie was better, Also Batman was better. I think we need a best Villan in a superhero movie contest now. I think Jack Nicolson as the Joker will win that
