Something interested I've noticed is that since 2006 the Oscars and Annies seem to go back and forth between agreeing on the Best Animated Feature.

2006: Annie - Cars, Oscar - Happy Feet
2007: both went to Ratatouille
2008: Annie - Kung Fu Panda, Oscar - Wall-E
2009: both went to Up
2010: Annie - How to Train Your Dragon, Oscar - Toy Story 3
2011: both went to Rango
2012: Annie - Wreck-It Ralph, Oscar - Brave
2013: both went to Frozen
2014: Annie - How to Train Your Dragon 2, Oscar - Big Hero 6

So I guess whatever wins the Annie next year is taking the Oscar. ;-) I still think it's going to be between Inside Out and Peanuts. Though if both Inside Out and The Good Dinosaur are similarly acclaimed and both nominated, I can see them splitting their votes among the Academy's Pixar fans.

The Annie Awards are given by ASIFA-Hollywood, an animation organisation that gives awards annually for animation (so, they're basically the Oscars and Emmys for Animation). You can visit their official website here: http://annieawards.org/

If you're curious, their winners for Best Animated Feature since they started handing out that award are:

1992: Beauty and the Beast
1993: Aladdin
1994: The Lion King
1995: Pocahontas
1996: Toy Story
1997: Cats Don't Dance
1998: Mulan
1999: The Iron Giant
2000: Toy Story 2
2001: Shrek
2002: Spirited Away (this was the year when they switched to honouring films released from January to December, rather than from October to September).
2003: Finding Nemo
2004: The Incredibles
2005: Wallace & Gromit in The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
2006: Cars
2007: Ratatouille
